An avid traveler for years, this hidden gem is one of the top places I have ever stayed compelling me to write a review which I normally don’t do. Special thanks go to the amazing staff: Hilario, Ricardo, Tatiana and Miguel! The cleaning ladies were super amazing as well, they did a thorough job and were very pleasant! The ocean view room on the 2nd floor was very spacious; had all the amenities and we had breakfast a couple of times in our balcony enjoying the beautiful views and the sun! Stayed here end of May for a week ( fam of three) and it was very peaceful as place wasn’t full with guests yet. Very kid friendly and close to the beaches of Burgau and Luz, about 10 min car ride. I enjoyed the sauna as well and had 3 of my other family members staying at another place visiting one afternoon and it wasn’t frowned upon. Highly recommend it!!

It was a good stay and we enjoyed it. What would I improve: Sunbeds are hard and not very comfortable and I would get better ones.

Check in was a breeze and our room was upgraded as a seaside room was available. Good breakfast and nice pool area.

It is a lovely villa, quiet, clean with a nice ocean view. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay here. Fantastic view. Breakfast was excellent. Lots of selection. Cocktails were awesome. So easy to stroll into town but always so happy to get back to our room. Comfy King size bed. I would definitely stay here again. Luz is a great little place.

It is not 4 star property, but that is unfortunately common in Portugal. Claiming status that one is not that is. Not to say that property is bad, it is really good 3 star level accomodation.

Vila Luz is a very pleasant hotel resort in an upscale beautiful residential neighborhood not far from restaurants and the Praia Luz beach.

This place was fantastic. The amenities were amazing, the food and drinks were delicious, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. The town of Luz was so cute and had such a nice vibe. I will definitely come back here for a vacation

Very relaxed atmosphere and location. Great size room with direct access to a lovely pool. Underground car park a bonus. Very clean. Good breakfast and bar snacks. Highly recommended

This hotel was a highlight for our trip through Portugal. The room was very spacious for 3 of us and we had a nice terrace that overlooked a beautiful pool. The breakfast and bar service were wonderful. At breakfast, one of the staff members gave us recommendations for 2 beautiful beaches to visit - Salema and Arifana (need a car to reach both but both are stunning!). This area is quiet and had a calm/relaxing vibe. The restaurants in town are very nice! We definitely plan to return and highly recommend to anyone!

Very beautiful property and location. All of the staff were very nice. Illario was extremely helpful in giving us suggestions of places to visit. It was a nice walk to the center of Luz and the beachfront. We would stay here again.

We loved this hotel. I was sad we only had one night. The included breakfast was one of our favorite meals from our entire week-long trip. It isn't a luxury place, but it was perfect for our needs!

It’s a nice place to stay out of Legos. It’s a little bit dated in a landscaping, made some work better than that. It was very comfortable.
