We had a standard double room, which was clean and modern. Had obviously been renovated relatively recently, all the fixings and fittings in excellent condition. The lights all linked to touchscreens located throughout the room. Powered shutters on the windows and AC which was effective. Complimentary water in the fridge, tea and instant coffee. As a vegan, the options at the breakfast buffet were limited to fruit, cereal + soy milk, bread + jam, some hot mixed veg, and a couple of sweet cakes. Tea/coffee/juice. The vegan things were labelled so that was nice. Very easy to get around, bus stops just across the street to the train station, airport etc. Overall a very pleasant stay and we would happily recommend.

The hotel is in a good central location to walk to and explore Citta Alta and Citta Bassa in Bergamo. Room conditions were good, it was spacious and clean. Sufficient closet space, which is beginning to be a problem at hotels. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and had dinner at the rooftop restaurant. Wonderful evening view of the Venetian walls and Citta Alta. The one problem we had, and it is common to many hotels, insufficient number of outlets to plug in chargers (without unplugging the TV, etc), as well the inconvenient locations of some outlets.

This is an excellent property in all respects - very well maintained, excellent service, comfortable bed, well equipped bathroom, a great breakfast buffet with a wide variety of choices. But the one additional thing and strong contribution to my selection was the location, a 15 minute walk from the train station, 5 minutes to the funicular to Citte Alta, 7 minutes to the Donizetti Theatre, and easily accessible to the museums and galleries. Finally, the location is very quiet, away from the tourist crowds and across from a small park. A private hotel parking lot is right across from the entry. A great find!

We stayed four nights in this hotel. For us, it was perfect and, should be go back to Bergamo, we would not hesitate to return to the same hotel. Its location is perfect (close enough to the Old City that you can walk to get there but also very close to the centre of the new town and its restaurants and shops); the location is also quiet; the room was big and comfortable (the fact that was a little old-fashioned was not a problem at all); breakfast was excellent with lot of choice; the hotel is clean and personnel kind and helpful. The only negative point is that, in our opinion, the hotel restaurant is pricey and, for this reason, we chose to eat at nearby restaurants.

Excellent hotel set in quiet neighbourhood. Easy to get about thanks to excellent transport links. Lots of options for food within 10 min walk. Hotel itself very clean and well presented, room tidy and neat with shower and basin and good bed.

I loved the quietness of the room, friendly and kind staff and 'handymen' who helped me with the fridge and electrical connection.

The room was very nice, clean and quiet and the bed very comfortable. The hotel was in a great location very near to the fernicular up to the old town but also not too far from the train station. Great hotel and great stay. Would have been better if the restaurant was open and the bar area was a bit more welcoming
