We had a lovely modern room. Great hotel, lovely breakfast and facilities. Close to the train and bus station and in a central location! We loved it!!!

Beautiful hotel at the base of the old city. A short walk to the Funicular and a 1.70€ ride up to the old city is a necessity. We spent all our time in the old city.

Room was clean and modern but balcony was off the bathroom which seemed odd. The cups and glasses were not cleaned when the room was cleaned. When we needed a 3 seat table for breakfast we were told we can arrange them how we like, no assistance offered. They ran out of plain croissants both days of our stay. Room was ready early on check in and staff were nice, location is good. Restaurant views beautiful but very expensive menu

Lovely stay and beautiful views of the old town!

Excellent location, hotel was lovely, room was great as was breakfast. All staff we encountered were very nice, friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend and we look forward to visiting again

Old style hotel with fabulous views of the old town. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and plentiful.

The hotel is very good and convenient for the Funicular railway and for the new town. It would have been handy if there was some information in the room as to how the Air-Con worked. I took us three days to find the contriol. I think a little sign above the control with the words "Air Con" would be understood by people of most languages.

Hotel San Marco deserves its excellent rating. Reception staff very efficient, and very accommodating when family visited one evening. Room was very clean and spacious, a kettle was provided with coffee and tea, bathrobes, toiletries and slippers were available. The balcony overlooked a local park. Breakfasts were excellent. A huge variety of cereals, cold and cooked choices and delicious cakes pastries and fresh fruits, and hot and cold drinks were available. We really appreciated the huge fridge containing yoghurts milks etc. A very busy breakfast room was very efficiently served by friendly and approachable staff. Outdoor tables looked up to the Citta Alta. The rooftop restaurant served a good selection of choices, beautifully presented by discrete and well trained staff. Views to the illuminated Citta Alta were breathtaking. The hotel is conveniently situated for local bus services to Citta Alta, the train station, and the airport bus stops right opposite the hotel. We would certainly recommend this hotel!

Like the roof top restaurant and the view of the old city. Food was excellent.

Excellent hotel, welcoming modern reception area. Clean and modern rooms with a good bathroom with shower (business room). Very nice and bright dining room and lovely breakfast. All staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is approximately 15 minutes walk from station and 5 minutes from funicular to citta alta. I would recommend this hotel.

I loved that they gave me a king size bed. The room is new with great amenities. Breakfast was excellent.
