Location was amazing right by the Spanish Steps! Free breakfast daily was amazing! Would stay again!

Breakfast included - staff welcoming and great service. Right next to the top of the Spanish Steps and less than a 10 minute walk away from Stop 7 for the Big Bus and other hop on hop off bus company stops. Depending on your room and floor level - we had amazing views of Rome and our room was spacious and comfortable.

The location is steps away from the Spanish steps. Our room was in a separate building with an elevator (a small one). Breakfast was good with a variety of options. Staff helpful. Would not recommend hotel if you have mobility issues there are lots of steps to deal with.

Lovely hotel. Room opening out on to private terrace was a real bonus. If the lifts are not working at Spagna metro much easier to walk from barbarini.

This is a nice place and location is good. But the venue being sprawled in 2 locations on opposite sides of the block was awkward. After arriving exhausted from traveling, we checked in at the front desk- then had to drag our luggage around the block and down several steps throughout the neighborhood. Odd and cumbersome. No cart. No elevator. No help. We are in decent shape but this was just not a great “service” vibe. Bizarre. Room was clean but smallish.

We just stayed for two weeks with the Hotel Scalinata di Spagna - in their family Apt. This apt was very spacious and had a very comfortable bed. The Hotel is centrally located to all you want to see in Rome. The hotel is located Within a mile 1/2 of all major attractions. The staff was very friendly, pleasant, and professional. When we return to Rome we will definitely reserve the same apt. Thank you for a wonderful experience.

Excellent location. Right at the top of the Spanish steps. Walking distance from Trevi Fountain and Pantheon. Great eateries all around

The staff bends over backward to help. They are wonderful. The location is a dream with all the shops, restaurants and proximity to so many iconic Roman sites. Grazie and I will return often.

The room was large and beautiful. Two balconies and the shower was split from the sink and toilet which was nice. The breakfast was great and the staff was very kind and responsive. The location near the Spanish steps was very convenient.

There were no washcloths. When we asked for some, we were told they didn’t have any. We bathed with hand towels. The hot water wouldn’t last through two showers. After the first night, we awoke to the overwhelming smell of sewage. The internal windows didn’t close completely and opened to some enclosed area that had a large dumpster-type thing. The only thing we could figure is that it has to do with the sewer. There was a lot of mold on the wall above the shower. The beds were very hard. We were unaware that there was no elevator for the family apartment, so you have to carry your luggage several flights of stairs. Only one key(a true long key), which made it difficult, at times, when one person was doing one thing and another person was doing something different. The staff were very nice, but I would not opt to stay here again.

Yhe staff was very friendls and the room was cleaned daily. Would recommend.

We arrived early and when we checked in, we were told that our room is ready if we want to rest after a long flight. That was very nice of them. Breakfast was also superb!
