Excellent location and great staff and breakfast options

Nice property but needs an uplift since it is pretty dated.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Astoria Park in Riva del Garda in July 2024 and had a wonderful experience. The hotel offers a great combination of amenities, including a fantastic breakfast, free parking, an excellent pool, and a prime location ( There was no extra charge for the pool ). The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the center of Riva del Garda and the shores of Lake Garda. Its location makes it easy to explore the town, visit local attractions, and enjoy the beautiful lake views. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided all the necessary information about the hotel's amenities and services. There was also no issue in them holding on to our luggage as we arrived quite a few hours before checkin. The standout facility at Hotel Astoria Park is the excellent pool area. The pool is large, clean, and surrounded by a well-maintained garden, providing a perfect spot to relax and unwind. There are plenty of loungers and shaded areas to enjoy. The breakfast at the hotel was very good. There was a wide variety of options, including fresh pastries, fruits, cold cuts, cheeses, and hot dishes. The quality and selection of food were impressive, and the breakfast area was spacious and inviting. This stay was part of a 7 day trip around Italy and we would not hesitate in staying here again. We absolutely loved Riva Del Garda.

It was a wonderful stay, from the breakfast to the room. Service was excellent and the hotel is highly recommended. The AC didn’t work in the room and the pool is not free which is weird. But I would definitely recommend it!

Excellent friendly kind service from all staff. V Obliging re storing luggage on day of checkout. Spotlessly clean. Excellent buffet breakfast range. Location is close to main road-which impacts on some rooms in terms of noise and views.

All staff were excellent We had meals every night in the hotel which were 100% and excellent value for money. The only downside was even though we had paid for a superior room,it was small and facing a busy main road.There were very few parking spaces 12 free places outside.There was a garage which normally there was a fee for but we did park in there for free.The walk into Riva was about 20 minutes.The gardens and pool were lovely

Because we booked through Orbitz, we were told we would have to pay 10 Euros a day to use the spa facility (otherwise it would have been included). The “out building” for our room was a good 250 yds. from main building where breakfast/dining was held, and it was a “barracks-style” facility with no charm appeal, view or ambience. No hand soap and first day Kleenex was used up and never replaced. Location of hotel was pretty close to a mile walk to the town center (waterfront). The beds were low to the floor and uncomfortable.

Good range of facilities and staff v fruendly and helpful

We had 3 generations staying in the hotel. The staff from the reception to the pool, bar and restaurant staff were excellent and very accommodating. Nothing was too much to ask. We ate most days both at the bar and at the pool and 2 waiters in particular were very attentive. Sergio and Nickala who ensured we had the best time. The facilities at the hotel were super, the pool was large so kids and adults could enjoy it together. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Excellent hotel staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly

The hotel is very nice and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a huge range of food available. The room was spacious and clean. The grounds and pool area are well maintained and very attractive. The only things that could be improved were the shower in our room needed re-grouting and the dinner menu had very little choice for vegetarians (particularly ones who don’t like mushrooms). Overall a great place to stay and only a few minutes walk down to the old part of Riva.

A really clean, friendly and easily accessible hotel. This hotel provided a great location for a wedding we attended in the center of Riva del Garda. There is free parking at the hotel or if this is full there is free parking over the road. Check in was smooth and staff spoke great English. The rooms were light, airy and clean. We were in the annex which was at the end of the hotel but near the outdoor pool which was great. The hotel is great for families as it has a great breakfast selection for them, a kids club and a children outdoor pool area. Food here was nice - great selection at breakfast (lovely freshly squeezed orange juice) and a nice lunch menu. Overall a great stay and would definitely come back again.

Great stay at Astoria, helpful staff but need more people at the bar to serve in the day.

Very happy with our stay. The hotel has a large garden within it's walls where our toddler could run freely and chase birds. We frequently used the two restaurants and were very happy with the food and service. With the warm and sunny weather, we spent each afternoon by the pool our and our toddler loved the staffed play area.
