Excellent location between train station and croisette : that is the main (only?) plus point about this hotel.

Excellent location, great customer service, quiet AC, sound proof room which is great as this hotel is across the street from the Cannes train station. Located at the end of a pedestrian street with lots of shops and restaurants. Short walk to beaches. Recommended!

They have bed bugs don’t go there. There was one in our shower so the maid brought it from another room but we have to waste time to go to a laundromat just to make sure it wasn’t our room

The manager of this hotel very kindly took my booking after a problem with my earlier booking at a nearby hotel. He was kind and efficient. The hotel is spotless, in a great location near the main train station but walkable to the whole of Cannes. The rooms are comfortable and have aircon. A great location, easy to come and go. Well priced. I'd stay again.

Basic hotel but with very strategic location. Walking to/from the Palais; and just across the Cannes’ train station (Gare de Cannes).

fantastic location -- right across the street from the train station & city buses' main hub. for a budget hotel to have air conditioning was a huge/massive PLUS :-)) endless choices of dining, shopping, cafes, the sea ... all within a few minutes walk. The manager is very friendly and helpful and multi-lingual.

Only half of the name Little Palace is descriptive. Not so much a hotel, more a building with bedrooms. There is no bar, breakfast room, vending machine, room minibar, lobby and the reception desk is seldom staffed. A jailbird on the lam would find the room a bit basic. Within its limitations the Little Palace is well maintained but those limitations are hard to overlook.

The rooms are small, the bathroom is small, there is only 1 towel for the 2 of you and the elevator is tiny :)
But it is in the city and has a private bathroom which is hard to find in Cannes. The reception is closed after 19 so make sure you are there before or call them before.
From our room there was no view to anything if you care about these things. The TV is only in FR (BBC is the only EN station I think) and there is no option for EN at all. Even if you hack the TV out of the hotel mode there is only FR playing on TV.
The internet speed is rubbish you can't do much on it.
But for a place to crash it is a great choice for its location.

Met people while in town, but don't think about bringing back to hotel. Can't have one person more in room besides those you signed in with while checking in. That doesn't make sense. No romance for you mister. Sleep alone forever. Make love not war.

Very central. Man on reception was very helpful. Clean towels daily. Plenty of eating places. Oposite the train station. Pitty there was not a hair drier tho. Over all a great little place.

Basic Hotel. Very well located if you are going to work at the Palais des Festival. Train station is also few steps from the hotel. Rooms and bathroom are very small but overall they have all what you need. Staff is always friendly, no room service, wifi is weak. For the price in Cannes during conventions, the hotel is OK.

The Little Palace has a great location across from the train station which is exactly what we were looking for. It's also very close to restaurants and the beach. We were only there for one night, so we didn't need anything fancy. This is pretty much just a place to crash for the night. I called to let the guy at the front desk know that we would need a later check-in (after 8pm) and he was fine with that. He also let us leave our bags at the front desk the next day so we could explore and go to the beach before catching a train in the early afternoon.
