Excellent!

This is an old-fasioned property (not in ppsitive terms)--shabby entrance and hallway, though better when entered third floor hotel fro elevator.

Overall for location Hotel is primely placed to do everything we wanted and close to the centre of everything. Is says on website it is dated and I agree however the bed was fantastic size of room good and staff super friendly and super helpful. I belive the price was probably a little more than I wanted to pay but glad we stayed there just for the interaction with staff. Could do with an uplift.

Great location, close to everywhere even though it is outside the old city area. Good-sized double rooms with quiet AC. Front desk open 7am-12am, you'll need to make arrangements to access during the night.

On arrival we were greeted with smiling helpful people. Room was clean and comfy. Large breakfast with meat, cheese, bread, fruits, yogurt, coffee and tea. Nice clean pool. i will return

The staff was great on helping with a couple of local issues...room was small, but very clean....no a/c, but the window and ceiling fan worked well....a good stop

The wifi was not good at all. The room did not have kettle. The shower was small and not comfortable at all. Maybe my expectation was too much because of the number of stars and the high price

Location is a couple of minutes from Foch metro, 10 minutes walk from Place des Terraux. This is a small hotel in a residential block (controller entry to the shared front door and to the hotel door). Staff friendly, room small but comfortable, if a little shabby around the edges. Hairdryer useless. Old-fashioned big keys to be left at reception. One night we came back late, and our key was one of three sitting out on the unattended reception desk - now it was controlled entry (fingerprint!) but not keen on that. Didn’t have breakfast here, but there’s a little bakery about 20 metres left as you come of the hotel where you can get a coffee, orange juice and pastry for about €6. Overall, solid but not spectacular- wouldn’t be my first choice, but it did the job.

Staffers were very kind. Breakfast quality was poor.

We stayed at Hotel Loch when visiting Lyon for the European football final. The hotel was pleasant. It could benefit from tea and coffee in the room and could also offer a better breakfast (such as the option to order eggs etc). Generally good however.

We had the time of our lives in Lyon largely due to the experience at our hotel. The reception staff were kind, welcoming, able to tell us a bit of the city's history along with some gastronomy recommendations. The hotel itself was quintessential French which we loved. Their customer service was what made the stay. Highly recommended.

I stayed at the Hotel Foch to experience a small local French hotel. It's was perfect for my needs, being a solo traveler in Lyon for the first time. I was welcomed immediately once I stepped off the elevator. I was given instructions in my native language, English. Emilee offered to make dinner reservations, and gave helpful directions, including a printed map of the area. My room was quaint. My twin bed very comfortable. Shower was warm. The optional breakfast offered, juice, coffee, pastries, cereals, eggs, yogurt, sliced delicatessens, cheeses, etc. The overall essence of the hotel was that of a Bed & Breakfast. If you're wanting commercial hotel, I would seek your hotel chain. If ever in Lyon again I would be staying here at the Hotel Foch.

It was a short business stay. The hotel was not bad for my business trip. If it was my vacation, then the hotel room is very small. Not very many choices for breakfast for the price that was charged (12euros!)
