Bed was broken. Self check in is not at all a good idea for guests traveling internationally. Our flight reached 8am and we got to hotel at 10. We could leave luggage but no one to request a early check in. The hotel had emailed us the code to the room which worked when we got there even though check-in time was 3 PM. We opened a room to find so much trash and stuff left behind by the previous guests. I believe they use the same code for all the guests, which is very unsafe. The place had a small kitchen. It was full of dirty dishes everywhere there is no AC. When we complained, they just gave a fan. Our room was on the second floor and the elevator barely fits two people. We had to do multiple trips to take all the bags upstairs.I would never recommend this place to anyone.

My only positive comment: Good location. The room had a portable AC (!!) located in the room internal balcony ( facing other apartments windows) We had to sleep with the balcony door open to get some AC. Kind of a Flinstones situation. We won’t book this place again

This is a good place to stay. Location is great to the center and many landmark and restaurants. Hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. The only problem i had (and major) was nobody sent me the security number to enter the hotel. I made reservation thru Hotels.com. dont know hotels.com should send or the Pension Lumens should send, but somebody ahould have sent me some info when the reservation was confirmed. I only got the confirmation email from Hotels.com (i made reservation the day before). So when i arrived at the entrance, i couldn't get in without this code. Dont know which room is mine, either. I had to call the emergency number with roaming a few times.. then finally made a contact.

Check-in process kinda confusing … luckily the cleaning lady was there to direct. Room was very clean … old and creaky, but clean and safe. Would not rate this a 4-star hotel (maybe a 2). Area was awesome- close to trains.

The place had everything that was needed and more! Good price for unbeatable location and big room. Funny check in process, but if you manage that part, the rest is easy:)

I wanted to share some feedback from our recent one-night stay at your hotel in Vienna. My girlfriend and I were really looking forward to our stop in the city, but unfortunately, we encountered an issue that impacted our experience. Upon checking into our room, we noticed that the bed had hairs on it, which left us questioning the cleanliness of the linens. This made it difficult for us to relax and get the good night’s sleep we needed before continuing our journey. What made this particularly frustrating is that we’d already dealt with a similar issue at a hotel in Budapest earlier on this trip. It’s been disheartening to have these kinds of problems back-to-back, as it has taken away from what was meant to be an enjoyable vacation. I wanted to bring this to your attention because we expected better from your hotel. This is not a hotel but a “Pension”. These are rooms on a floor of a tired appartment/ office building. There is no reception and getting in at first is rather odd. The front door is locked after 6 PM so good luck getting in touch with someone. When I received instructions they were in German and I requested them in English but never received any. Good that when I arrived I had a friend who helped me. The room was clean, quiet and very central. When I selected 4 Star on Expedia I expected something better.

Wifi did not work, and nobody responded to help fix it when i messaged. Otherwise good stay.

I have got there. The self chekin didn’t work, they did not send me the PIN code to get the key. Also they didn’t answers the phone. After 1 hour wait I went to another hotel

The location was perfect and was quite reasonable. The room was clean with a small refrigerator and there was a small dining area and access to a stove if needed. The only issue we had was getting into our room. It is a self-check hotel so we were given a code to get our room key. We were told to enter the code and a box would open with our key. The problem was that we had to enter the code to get into the door to where the rooms were and there was a lock box on the wall that was NOT the box that would open. There was another box inside where we needed to enter the code a second time to get the key. Just a minor thing but since there was no desk we were on our own to figure it out and luckily someone else came along that called the help number to get the actual directions. Other than that it was wonderful and we would definitely return!

Entry into the property is very difficult, actually it was scary in night. No Uber or cab drivers could arrive in front of the building. We had to drag our suitcases to next street. They sent the code to access the premises very late, so caused us a lot of waste of time from our Salzburg trip.

Great location. The room was basic but had everything we needed- kettle, fridge, comfy beds.

A nice simple place to stay in Vienna. Perfect for short visits, room booked wasn't available due to damage and was only offered a smaller room or the damaged room with no other compensation. However, staff and room was pleasant and a great location in the city

great location and very friendy woman at the reception that try to do her best to help. the a/c is mobile and wasnt worked so good at a very hot day in vienna.

The Good: - The location is absolutely perfect. All of the top attractions are within 15-25 minutes walking, depending on how fast you walk. St. Stevens Cathedral is a 4-minute walk, and that's where the best shopping is too. - The staff is very friendly and helpful. - The hotel was very clean and well stocked with towels, hand soap, body wash, and shampoo. The Bad: - The mattress is thin and rock hard. - There is a pub one door down, and the thin windows lets in a lot of partying sounds (If you're a heavy sleeper, this probably won't bother you.) - Everything in the room feels cheep, like you ordered a luxury hotel off of Wish.com. It looks fancy in photos, but the materials of the furniture, doors, lamps, and carpet are cheep. I only point this out because the hotel's website says all of their rooms are "4-star rooms," which is obviously not true once you arrive.

For condition, it is under renovation so that’s the reason for the level there. The staff was great and the location was really good. Quiet neighborhood across from a beautiful church. Not 4 star but good place to stay, accommodating and clean.
