An excellent Hotel/Pensione. I can’t understand this description it as good as most 4* hotels I’ve stayed in and better than many. Self-service is more than adequate and the staff are helpful and friendly. The area just off the Ku’Damm is great with an excellent S,U and bus service close by. My place to go when visiting one of my favorite cities.

Some of the room furnishings appeared a little dated and tired, but it was perfectly adequate, and the room was very large, and the hotel was full of character. The breakfast - 7.30-10.30 daily - was excellent and substantial - everything you could have wanted (apart from a full-English, of course!). The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Small old hotel with difficult aces to closed reception most of the day , very good breakfast,, very good location,,,, old rooms ( needs renovation) but according to price very good .

The Hotel property is old but very clean and have good facilities inside of hotel. In addition, the hotel is located in good area where has too much facilities all around.

The hotel is basically a bunch of old apartments converted to hotel rooms. It was clean and a great location, however we were on the top (5th) floor and the elevator was out of order (for the forseeable future). We had to haul our luggage all the way up and the higher you get the hotter it gets - it was sweltering up there (no aircon). We were literally sweating by the time we reached our room. In addition, the hot water pressure in our room was non-existant, literally a trickle. Overall disappointing and not recommended for anyone older or with health problems/lack of fitness!

The hotel is a bit old-school, but the staff is very helpful and friendly, rooms are clean and spacious enough. The location is very convenient, so if you plan to use the room mostly for sleep, it's a reasonable choice.

I’d stayed in the area before but Kurfürst was a lucky find. Just off the Ku’Damm an area I like. A bright, spotless and airy room, a good continental breakfast, friendly staff at a surprisingly lower rate than I’d payed before. If I’m fortunate to return to Berlin again I’ll be staying there again and would recommend it to anyone.

Great location, just off a main shopping street with lots of restaurants and close to public transport.

Not anything fancy , but really reasonable taking into consideration the location and price . Check in after the reception hours was not smooth.

Very dated and worn. Furniture scuffed and carpets old and stained. Nice large room with semi-comfortable beds and a handy mini fridge and good shower. Location is great, right off the main shopping street and lots of options for food and sights too. Decent price.

Great location for central Berlin. Breakfast was great. Rooms were a little tired looking but on the whole spacious accommodation and everything worked.

Charming room and building. Wifi barely worked which made getting work done difficult.

Great hotel in an awesome location! The hotel is close to many upscale shops and tourist attractions. The room was smaller than others, but it was still comfortable for two people. They even let us have late checkout, which was an extra bonus! Overall a good experience.

Hotel was very clean and in a great location .Staff were very friendly and helpful .Shops ,restraunts,bars very close .Brandenberg gate,checkpoint charlie,zoo etc all within easy reach by bus or train in fact we walked them took about 1hour.so all in all a nice hotel in a great location at a very reasonable price.Wouldnt put anybody staying at the kurfurst hotel

I was slightly confused on arrival as the hotel is only the top part of the building. In the dark how to get in wasn't obvious, but quick phone call solved that. Helpful staff and a decent room, though layout of floor was unusual. Breakfast was okay but could have done with a little more variety.

CLOSE TO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION, CENTER OF ALL ATTRACTIONS. VERY GOOD NEIGHBORHOOD
