Always make a booking to this hotel weather it be 1 or 2 times a year Had problems in the past with it being not suitable for our party (family) But have managed to change rooms okay This time around the mattress was absolutely shocking black hairs everywhere coved the whole thing Don’t get me Wrong we were moved to the only room in the hotel basement it was so hot that neither could sleep right a bar of chocolate was water in seconds that’s how hot it was in there This time around not very good service hope they can redeem them selves

Absolutely disgusting, dirty,smelly, damp, no windows. CHECKED IN AND WENT TO ROOM AND WALKED OUT.....DID NOT STAY

Not gonna lie one of the most worst hotels I've stayed in in years. We were on the top floor no lift. Absolutely stinks. Noisy fro Underground. Staff lovely and accommodating but for £132.02 a night..... great location and lovely area but a hovel

Unique ,if you want to listen to under train all night

Norfolk Square is convenient for Paddington and Edgware Road. This is an affordable base for a few days in London which you won't be spending in a hotel room.

I had a single room on the 2nd floor which made me uncomfortable because of the marks on the corner which looked just like mould. The 2 things nice about it were the distance from Paddington station and the cheap price for a night's stay

Very dated which isn’t an issue however the room smelt of sewerage which was coming from the bathroom and the bathroom was unbearable with the smell. Room was right next to the breakfast room so was awoken by guests going to breakfast due to small space and walls very thin.

Had a good stay for 2 nights. Ash was friendly and helpful, breakfast was decent. Money well spent.

Price

The room is tiny, shower drain is not working properly. The sink is half the size of a regular sink, when you turn on the water it sprays everywhere. The basement room is right above subway and you hear the loud train every 5 minutes, forget about sleeping. The door lock is barely functional. I took a walk and came back found my door was open by someone! Luckily nothing was stolen.

Staff were not helpful, almost delighting in my discomfort. Breakfast was good. Very close to tube and buses. Room cleanliness was appalling.

Reception moved our room when we were told it was on the fourth floor, I had a 23kg bag and it was too heavy to take up the stairs as they did not have a lift.

The staff were lovely , very polite and helpful, the room was small and very dated but was clean . The hotel is ok if you just want a base, but the whole place could do with an upgrade .

Nice new bathroom. Very warm. Staff very nice good breakfirst. Was in basement so needed to open window in next room to.let in some air then slept well.towles changed every day. As was underground was a damp smell which went when window was opened.for the price in.london,cant complain.

This hotel is ok. The location is good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The room is small and the bathroom layout is poor as there is very little room to move in it. The towels and linen were not very clean on occasion and the WiFi was not great. There was a lot of outside noise that could be heard in the room which made sleeping difficult at times and there is no lift at the property. The breakfast selection provided was good although the cutlery/bowls were not always as clean as they should have been. All in all this hotel provides the basics required in a convenient location but has room for improvement.

The toilet is too thin and smells bad, the cleaning staff has a shady attitude, the stairs are too narrow and difficult to get up and down.

We might be used to space and comfort in hotels elsewhere (e.g. North/South America, Africa, Asia) even when they're 2 or 3 stars but this one was very sub-standard. And it wasn't particularly cheap either. Uncomfortable bed, tight space, poor ventilation etc. The breakfast was ok though and friendly staff but I'll most likely not stay here again.

This is a hidden gem and the staff was extra generous and helpful to me in a tough situation, although beware that there is no entry after dark or very late check-ins as this is more of a family hotel. I was pleased with all of the amenities and built-in hair dryer! Thanks again - see you all next time!

Very dated...here the tube in basement room...cheap and not so cheerful.
