A lovely old fashioned hotel with modern amenities. Staff were really friendly and helpful. And the location was perfect! Less than 10mins from Lille Europe train station for Eurostar and 5mins from Lille Flanders station for regional trains. A few minutes from the main square Grand Place and all the Old Town attractions, as well as close to cafes and restaurants. I would definitely book to stay here again.

The hotel is perfectly situation in Lille Centre. Close to both train stations and also very close to the main attractions of Lille. The hotel messages before your stay asking if there is anything you need advice or recommendations on before your stay. This was most welcome especially for places to eat and we tried a few of the recommendations which were very nice. Breakfast was very good. Pastries, French stick, hams and cheeses together with a choice of two cereals. The staff were always on hand to help if you needed anything. Our room was small and compact but had everything you could need and was spotlessly clean. If I was visiting Lille again I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Lovely hotel, very clean, comfortable and staff friendly and helpful. Room was a little dated but has everything we needed and we had a wonderful stay. The location is great, easy walk from the train stations and central to explore the city. Would absolutely recommend. We had breakfast at the property which was a hot drink, juice then you are provided with bread and pastries. Help yourself to meat, cheese, yoghurts, fruits and cereal.

Excellent location and staff were excellent. Hotel generally a little dated but couldn’t fault the warm welcome and help from the front desk.

Old style french hotel. Dated but full of charm with friendly staff. Rooms are clean and a decent size for french standards. It was a little annoying that they always want you to drop off your key when you leave

Very friendly and efficient staff provided list of local restaurants and gave me good directions to the one I chose. Room cleaner was polite and effective. Good breakfast with extra coffee and juice.

The hotel staff were most welcoming and accodating. The room was spacious and clean. Continental breakfast was excellent. The hotel was a stones throw from Lille centre and only a ten minute walk from the rail station

Small room but adequate for needs. Requires tea and coffer making facilities. Hotel provided kettle when asked, which was great, but didn't top up tea, coffee and milk thereafter.

The staff were nice and helpful. The room was quit dated and in meed of a refresh, but was clean and tidy.

Friendly reception staff, very good location - close to coffee shops/restaurants & 5-10 mins walk to Old Town, train station, local shops. Room was a decent size, some noise from the outside - You could hear the other guests outside chatting. Shower wasn't the best, took awhile to get the right setting/temperature, mattress was hard.

The hotel is perfectly located. Literally 5 min to Lille flandres - another 5 min to Lille Europe. Turn right and you’ll see the cathedral, turn left and you’ll be at the grande place. The room was comfortable if on the small side with some bulky useless furniture (like a cabinet which served no purpose and a desk you could not use as the double bed took most of the room). Shower was fine. I missed a kettle to make tea and coffee. I didn’t try breakfast. Reception staff varied in friendliness and competency - one told me that was no hair dryer when there was one! And wasn’t very good at communicating either. Another was very friendly and shared useful information too.

An excellent hotel. We could not fault it. Staff were lovely - the room was clean, cosy & comfortable (only slight issue was that there was no shower curtain & despite our best efforts, the floor got very wet). We loved the decor & atmosphere & would thoroughly recommend this hotel. We would love to stay again on a return visit.

This was a very lovely hotel. It was clean, safe and very central with several dining options within a short walking distance. The day and evening reception was very friendly and helpful. The overnight staff- not so much. That can just be personality
