Very friendly staff, efficient check in and comfortable room. The ancient arcs accross from the hotel are illuminated at night and look beautiful. Althought the hotel offered breakfast for an additional fee, we decided to grab a coffee, pastries and fresh fruit at the food market accross from the hotel.

I would stay at this hotel again just because the woman at check-in was so nice and helpful. But the room was very comfortable, the location was perfect, and I even got to enjoy the Saturday morning market across the street. It is a nice hotel and I would definitely go back.

Quaint hotel with a family-run, personalized feel. Historic building tastefully renovated. Woman at the front desk was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was amazing- prepared to order. Close to central Montpellier. Farmers Market across the street was full of vendors and foods.

We loved staying here for 5 days. The hotel is located directly opposite ‘the arches’ on a quiet street and is an easy walk to the centre of town. The room wasn’t huge but perfectly fine and looked out over the garden. Both the bedroom and en-suite were beautifully designed. Staff are all exceptionally helpful and thoughtful and frequently checked that all aspects of our stay were fine. Breakfast in the garden was a great way to start each day with lovely bread, pastries and fresh fruit salad. We also made use of the underground parking space nearby and the gym pass. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is a lovely place with a nice atomsphere, staff are friendly while remaining professional and helpful. The garden is a lovely place to relax and also to have breakfast, which is normal continental, croissants, fruit, yoghurt etc. It is in a good location, easy walking distance to center and all the sights. The room was small which is why I said good for short stays but everything was spotlessly clean and it also had a bath as well as a shower and lots of hot water. The main 'NEGATIVE' point is that the on street parking by the hotel is very expensive! However, not too far away we found 'INDIGO' underground parking which was more reasonable. The on street parking is free after 7p.m. until 9a.m. All in all a lovely stay.

Terrible experience overall. Awful reception staff with an anti-customer attitude that I’ve almost never seen at any hotel. I asked for late checkout a few minutes before 11, as my family was nit as yet all packed, something that, in my experience, hotels ate happy to provide where necessary and where new guests aren’t waiting in the lobby for their rooms, but was told no, I had to be out if my room in a few minutes. Unbelievable. Terribly customer antagonistic. Hotel design nice but room cramped and a tiny shower that insisted on putting water out into the floor. Wifi very slow. A very bad experience overall. This hotel should be avoided

Lovely breakfast. Rear garden with an orange tree has some seating space. A quiet cat was around, she was welcoming. Walking distance to the town centre.

A small, family owned hotel, smallish rooms but comfortable beds and good shower. Lovely garden for breakfast, all the staff were really good and happy to help. In a nice quiet area, very near the old town. Would definitely recommend.

The hotel is a converted old house. Decor a bit random but bathroom pristine. Breakfast in garden possible. On Saturday there is a fabulous food market right outside the door.

Montpelier was a surprise tourist stop. The restaurants were top quality and reasonably priced. The town has a beautiful church and other sites to visit. It is also a convenient spot to go tour other cities like Arles and Pont du gard and the coast The hotel is adorable but if you are sensitive to cigerette smoke, even though it is a non smoking hotel smoke resonates in the breakfast area

The room was a little small, but this was more than compensated by the friendly staff and the tropical garden in which one could have breakfast, light meals, etc. We enjoyed our 8-day stay greatly and were sorry to leave. The location was ideal, in a quiet area very near the old city as well as several parks. Le5, just down the street, is one of the better French restaurants in Montpelier, and we took full advantage.

This is such a lovely place for a stop in Montpellier. The hotel is very quaint yet beautifully decorated and above all great service. Anna offered to take our bags upstairs and also offered to help with our washing. That was such a life saver. Breakfast was delicious and served in the lovely garden. Will Come again. Keep up the good work.

Les Arceaux is a short walk from the town center, next to an 18th-century aqueduct. The room was small (as European rooms often are) but well-appointed and very clean, and the air-conditioning was welcome. There are outdoor seating areas if you wish to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. We did not take the available breakfast, preferring to wander into town. There is a market under the aqueduct, right outside the front door. The neighborhood was pretty quiet.
