Just steps away from the Pope’s Palace, restaurants and all of the old city. It was a wonderful place to stay and highly recommend it.

Clean room, big room for France, comfy bed

the parking situation was sooo difficult...far away, all cobblestones, ugh. they did send me an email about the difficulties but it was AFTER i booked. TV was awful, BBC news was the only english station. front desk did not speak or understand any english. could not drive to hotel, it was surrounded by ped areas and that was not clear. i called to see how to get in and thats when i realized the no english situation. all i understood was 'parking palais du papes' ugh. i will alwlays choose on site parking in the future.

Great location next to the plaza. Close to the citadel and all the attractions. Stairs are small and twisted but thankfully for the elevator. Room was small but comfortable. We didn’t get breakfast there but in a local bakery instead. Staff was very helpful.

Great location, easy to walk to from train station in Avignon Center. I had a lovely room with a view, it was very comfortable. I would have rated it higher but for several reasons: 1) when I went to check out their card reader rejected both my debit and credit card (using 2 different banks); they had NO alternate way to pay except cash, so I was forced to run to the bank to get enough cash to cover the bill just before I was scheduled to leave Avignon. This was very stressful and the ONLY place in the 6 wk I've been traveling throughout Europe where it happened. No problems with the cards themselves, just the reader. 2) there were a couple of cool nights but the heat was not yet turned on at the hotel. 3) there was no ice available at the hotel. No machine, nothing on request despite the hotel having a kitchen. Just things for future travelers to consider.

Rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly.

Great location walkable to sights and restaurants, friendly and helpful staff at check in. Very clean room with nicely renovated bathroom and complimentary coffee machine. Only negative was the room was quite small, down a narrow passage and only had windows looking out on an interior stairwell and a ventilation shaft. Still a good value for the money considering the generous and tasty breakfast buffet was included in the price.

Location is very central to everything in Avignon. Room was comfortable and staff were first rate. We would definitely return.

Extremely cramped accomodations

Property close to Palais du Pape and attractions.

Property is in an excellent location close to restaurants and attractions. Nice and spacious with a full tub. Not a fan of the 1/2 shower door where water inevitably spills onto the floor... although seems to be the way with most hotels. AC was excellent and also appreciated the ability to open the window. Unfortunately even with a request to the hotel to review, Wifi wasn't good for most of the stay. Overall a very nice and pleasant stay.

Being inside the palace walls is an incredible experience. Parking is a little rough as the underground parking was far from the hotel. Cobblestone roads are not easy to roll your bags. But we loved our stay there.

Perfect location. Room is small but the windows from our room overlooked the square. Beds were not the most comfortable. Staff was excellent. Many stairs, there is a small lift but mornings waiting can be a challenge

Hard to find and figure out parking. NO air conditioning! Front desk told us to open the windows, but people talking, smoking etc... made that impossible. If you are not going to turn on the AC, don't advertise it!
