My wife and I had a delightful two night stay at the Hotel Rose, with the intention of visiting Mont-Saint-Michel. Our arrival and check-in were very smooth and the staff were most helpful in ensuring we had all the information we needed about visiting the Mont and the abbey. The room (cabin) was set in a small park of around 10 other cabins. The bed was very comfortable and the cabin had two comfortable armchairs and a dining table with two further chairs. The en-suite shower room was well designed and the hot water was always on demand. The hotel is a one hour walk (4.4km) from the Mont, although you can choose to drive to the large carpark and take the shuttle bus should you wish. My wife and I walked both ways (we are in our 70s, and it is straight and flat, and has a lovely river to walk beside) in order to take in the spectacular views of the Mont on the way. Beauvoir village has several restaurants offering good quality evening meals at reasonable prices, and the hotel staff are happy to advise. We took our breakfast at the hotel, which was a plentiful continental breakfast. Many thanks to the welcoming and friendly staff for making our stay extra happy.

Beautiful property, quiet, meditative, kind and helpful staff who spoke English well

Staff was wonderful and helpful. The room/cabin was sufficient but thought for price value was a little high. Local to restaurants and Le Mont Saint Michel.

This is not a hotel, these are plywood boxes (i did not go inside the main building). There is no AC, no ceiling fans, and no windows. There is a small hole in the wall that you could stick your head out of if you were suffocating. Which you might be June - Sept. Save your family, or bring loads of deodorant and a portable AC unit.

Very beautiful and comfortable stay with a unique artistic edge. Though not new, everything is very well kept. Staff is very kind and helpful. There is a 2 km beautiful walk to the free bus that takes you to Mont Saint-Michel, but we chose to walk the whole 4 km taking pictures along the way.

i LOVED coming back after 17 years to this beautiful location. Calm and charming. It is the people of this amazing family run hotel that makes all the difference in your stay, not the fancy room. Rooms are extermly clean and comfortable, basic, but wonderful. Being able to take a bike to Mt. Saint Michele, having have fantastic food at the onsite Food Truck (family run also) , plus the lovely family who remembered me from 17 years ago. WOW, Can't wait to go back. The hotel was convenient to Ont saint michel. However, you cannot see it from the hotel. The rooms are basic but adequate and some rooms have do you have to climb to stories no elevator. Reasonably priced.

This was wonderful. Awesome location, adjacent to walking path to Mont Saint Michel. 3 generation French family home and accommodations. Ms. Emanuel was delightful.Very welcoming and loved sharing stories about her family. Paintings by her husband were well done.

The reception was excellent. Helpful and friendly. Showed me exactly where i needed to go to get to everything. Would definitely come stay again if im in the area.

In our drive through the French countryside we found the hotel closer to the Island than I had thought it would be. The hotel is modest but the staff were attentive, kind and personable. We were comfortable and happy with our stay and would stay there again.

Excellent location for Mount St Michel. Loved hiring bikes for 1 Euro and riding to Mont St Michel. A highlight. Also the boulangerie across the street was excellent. Garden for the children to play in was wonderful. The shower was small and could do with updating.

Great location, wonderful staff

Hotel Rose is family run and a very convenient place to stay near Mont St. Michelle. Their English is good and they communicate well by email. We stayed in a cabin in a park like setting 30 yards from the main building and parked our car next to the cabin. Easy to load and unload the car. The cabins have a curved roof on one side and a full picture window view of the park on the other, which is a good safe place for children to play. The shelves on the curved side were easy for my 5'4'' wife and daughter to use, but not for 6' me. Because of COVID, breakfast was simple and take out. The family staff were very helpful and shared stories regarding the Abbey, the history of their family and the area, and suggested other nearby things to see. Our daughter and I enjoyed our stay. My wife would have preferred a more conventional hotel. The hotel is right in the middle of the very walkable town of Beauvoir, but we were never bothered by noise from the street. There are bicycles to use as well.

Very pleasant stay. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Room was as expected. Location was convenient to Mont St. Michele. Not a lot of dining options but there are about 20 minutes away. Opportunities were- no blinds or black out curtains in window in bedroom (we were on the 1st floor and it was a little creepy), no extra pillows in room (pillows were very flat)

Wonderful and funky! Staff Expertly directed us to the local attractions and made sure we experienced what we came for.

Absolutely beautiful property, amazing gardens, clean amenities. Right next to the river pedestrian walk where you can see Mont Saint-Michel. Really great staff and a great location next to bakeries and businesses.
