Helpful and friendly staff, wonderful view and great breakfast

Nice hotel with an awesome view of the lake. The hotel is located just a couple hundred meters from Italy where there are some great Italian restaurant. The part I don't like is lack of lighting in the hallway. The staff are friendly and super nice. Wife and I enjoyed our 2-night stay very much.

Stayed for one night and service was great! Lovely location on the lake.

Good location for my needs but also easy to Lugano by train (25min) or boat (1hr). Breakfast was good, lake view a must, staff very helpful.

If you are looking for a quiet get away in idyllic setting, then look no further. The hotel look tired from the outside. But, inside was a different story. Loved the stay. Plus Fantastic restaurant to boot!

It is an old hotel but is kept in immaculate condition. The staff are very helpful and attentive and the views of the lake and surrounds from the room, reception and restaurant area were fantastic. We had a superior room which was smallish but adequate. The airconditioning does not work well so we doubt we'd choose this hotel for a mid summer stay. We were there in early October. We'd certainly stay again - it is great value for money.

The staff are very dedicated and driendly and the meals in the hotel are excellent, little reason to eat outside the hotel as the food quality, menue and service are excellent!

Great location - good value - excellent staff - very good restaurant

Hotel has great views of the bay from all rooms and the resturant. However the rooms are dated for a 4 star hotel and the one we were in had no aircon, which would be ok in the cooler months but in the summer meant that to sleep we had to leave the balcony door open to cool the room, this left us at the mercy of the smokers.next door and the local road noise. Also not a great deal of English language TV in the room.

Das Hotel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und alles war frisch und wurde sofort aufgefüllt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber.

Wie immer sehr schön ruhig,zentral gelegen und super freundliches Personal

Hat alles gepasst. (Ausser das Wetter). Waren nur eine Nacht dort und hatten Glück ein Upgrade zu erhalten. Nochmals Danke. Direkte Sicht auf den See vom Zimmer und Restaurant. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Nachtessen hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Das Hotel liegt toll am See und zu Fuss 5min. bis zur italienischen Grenze. Da der Morgen und Abendverkehr sehr rege war,war es etwas laut, aber auszuhalten.Die Töffs waren da eher lästig. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig. Zimmer,nur mit Ventilator, alle mit Sicht auf den See. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. PP direkt vor den Hotel für CHF 11.00 pro Tag, lohnt sich da das Ticino Ticket für die ÖV gratis ist. Baden direkt von Hotel aus, kleiner Steg mit einigen Liegen.

Sehr sauber, gutes Frühstück. Im sauberen See gebadet, direkt vom Hotel aus.
