The hotel does have covered parking. It's located next to the hotel, and is limited in that they only have 17 spaces; plus it's an additional 15 euros per day and a city tax to utilize the parking. Parking is in the Volterra's limited traffic zone (ZTL). Contact the hotel if you desire parking, be sure to give them your car plate number so you don't get fined driving into the restricted zone. The rooms were clean but modest. The floors in the hallways and rooms are tile and you do get noise from people moving around above you and in the hallways. The bathroom are small (one person at a time size). The staff is very helpful and informative. They provided information on restaurant which will provide a discount to hotel customers. The pool was nice and the hotel staff provided drinks and food pool side. Even though the hotel location was towards the end of the town, restaurant and shopping were short walks, 5-10 minutes.

Air conditioning did not work in our tiny room. It was too hot to sleep.

Ottima esperienza all’Hotel San Lino. La posizione è perfetta per visitare Volterra a piedi e il parcheggio è stato davvero utilissimo, soprattutto viaggiando con una macchina a noleggio. Il personale alla reception è stato eccezionale: tutti molto gentili, professionali e sempre disponibili a rispondere a qualsiasi domanda. Anche il personale della colazione è stato molto cordiale e accogliente. La colazione era buona e in linea con quello che ci si aspetta da un hotel di questo tipo. La camera era confortevole e l’esperienza complessiva è stata molto positiva. Il mio unico suggerimento sarebbe aggiungere una piccola mensola nella doccia per appoggiare shampoo o altri oggetti personali. Consiglierei sicuramente questo hotel a chi visita Volterra.

During our vacation, we stayed in several hotels in different cities, and this one was by far the best! The staff were very friendly, the location was excellent, the breakfast was delicious, and the room was always spotless. Most importantly, there was convenient parking with a permit for the ZTL area. Many thanks to the staff for making our stay truly unforgettable!

Convenient location inside Volterra. Part of the road around Volterra was closed, so I was confused on how to find the hotel, but once we found it, we loved it. Lovely breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff.
