The hotel does have covered parking. It's located next to the hotel, and is limited in that they only have 17 spaces; plus it's an additional 15 euros per day and a city tax to utilize the parking. Parking is in the Volterra's limited traffic zone (ZTL). Contact the hotel if you desire parking, be sure to give them your car plate number so you don't get fined driving into the restricted zone.
The rooms were clean but modest. The floors in the hallways and rooms are tile and you do get noise from people moving around above you and in the hallways. The bathroom are small (one person at a time size).
The staff is very helpful and informative. They provided information on restaurant which will provide a discount to hotel customers.
The pool was nice and the hotel staff provided drinks and food pool side.
Even though the hotel location was towards the end of the town, restaurant and shopping were short walks, 5-10 minutes.
