I absolutely loved staying here. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing. The lighting in the lobby is really wonderfully relaxing, and is deaigned very well. That first impression allows the stress of travel to recind. There is lift. I found my room spacious and very plesant. The positioning of the hotel meant rhe sun shone in each day, which was glorious. (The curtains are thick enough to block out the sun if it gets too much.) I've seen people comment on the bathroom being small. I didn't think so, but I guess it depends on your size and build.. The shower is large and clean and works properly, The room has a minibar but no kettle. Water is replenished whenever the cleaner comes which is everyday unless you request No housecleaning. Breakfast is buffet style, with efficient and attentive staff. I found the staff just wonderful, helping with my suitcase but any other problems. I felt well taken care of and rested well here. I really loved the massage chair in the lobby, its so good after a hard day of walking around. I extended my stay and to be truthful probably would have stayed there longer, but had to go. I would highly recommend.

I spent six nights here. It's a nice place for the price, but the shower tub is too small if you’re a tall person.

Old hotel, old furniture, not a three star hotel we will never come back! we’re not recommend to nobody too expensive

The hotel is in a very nice location, easily accessible to many attractions nearby. Staff was nice at the reception and they helped with bringing baggage to room as well. The room was clean, however, the only problem is the bathroom is very small with no space to sit for the toilet. And the cleaners were shouting and talking loudly early morning for more than 1hour which literally broke my sleep. Where i had to wake up and personally advise them to talk slowly.

This hotel was PERFECT for me as a solo traveler with a few extra nights in Istanbul. The wifi was reliable and fast so I could get work done from my room, staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast buffet was great, and it's in a very walkable area with many food options and easy access to public transport. Really ideal except for one thing - very loud at night! I could hear other guests in the halls and in their rooms (and I'm sure they could hear me too) but mostly the noise was from the street where there were loud concerts every night. It was worth it for the great location!

Horrible experience with staff- lack of communication due to language barriers tried to overcharge me for my husband staying with me in my doublebed booked room, when I asked for a bigger room they said there was none and fought me for an extra charge when I refused they kicked me out of the hotel!!! Rooms are super tight and small as well as the bathrooms. Smallest shower I’ve seen and water leaked from under the shower stand. Overall I hated the stay and the experience and never again at this hotel for sure!

I would definitely not recommend maya hotel . The reception staff were very unfriendly on my checking and would not assist me despite showing them my reservation details. Made us wait for a long time than gave us our room . The room was very small and the beds were very uncomfortable. The towels were old and hard like floor mats . The bathroom is so small and uncomfortable u can’t move in it . I would definitely not recommend this establishment to anyone. It’s truly a disgrace to market an establishment like this to foreign visitors .

This hotel is in the old city part of Istanbul and the location is terrific. It's very close to public transport and easy to get to from the airport. Quick walk to Grand Bizarre as well as many other historical sites. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Rooms are clean and they have smoking rooms too. Breakfast is ok, very typically Russian with some other bits and pieces thrown in, you'll find something to eat. Over all I'd recommend this hotel for a short stay no problems.

I was a bit skeptical to booked Maya hotel when I was searching for hotel in Istanbul. I love everything about my stay. The pictures on their website didn't do justice to the hotel. The single room is very spacious and very clean. Their breakfast also have varieties.
