Good value for the money. Perfect location

The rooms are very small. You have public parking in front but you have to pay.

Great location just in the town walls. Parking was a fussy but manageable with paid parking outside wall for the 2 nights. Our room was by front restaurant so very noisy until it closed. Breakfast for 15€ was worth for convenience.

Arrived on the biggest festival day of the year but staff was great and helped us navigate the crazy parking situation as the city gates were closed making their normal lot unavailable. Room was small as expected but perfectly located near everything. Breakfast was very good and lots of room for the packed house. Ate at the hotel restaurant which was very good as well. Great value and spotlessly clean.

This is an excellent option if you want to spend some time in Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This property is right next to the old city wall which runs around the old town and there is an entrance a few meters from the hotel entrance, and because it's not right in the heart of the old town, it's quite peaceful after sunset. The room was small (by north american standards) but definitely served the purpose. There are a lot of antique and old-world touches everywhere while being modern in places like the washroom and having an A/C unit. The restaurant in the hotel is also very good and the included breakfast was very enjoyable for our family -- though don't expect a waffle station or anything like that. It was a somewhat traditional German breakfast with lots of cold cuts, cheese, hardboiled and scrambled eggs, and some break with various spreads. We loved it. I would wholeheartedly recommend this as a fantastic place to experience all that Rothenburg old town has to offer.

P5 parking lot right outside the Pulverturm (PowderTower) entrance, which is right by the hotel. They also have their own parking, and parking lot in front of hotel. Polizie monitor, so make sure to purchase your parking pass if you drive. Restaurant on premises with good German dishes and Bier/Wine selection. Rooms are quiet and clean.

Staff was friendly and helpfull room was clean we only stay 1 night but i would deffenitly recommend this place and the breakfast was delicious too!

Onlybwished we could have stayed longer. Friendly staff, clean accommodations, and free breakfast!

Second tine we have stayed here and was not disappointed. Kitchen and restaurant staff were outstanding as was everything we ate!! Room was small but clean and refreshing. Very good 3star hotel that acts like a 4 star!! We will be back!!

This was in a good location, easy to find by car. I had booked and paid for a triple room as I wanted two totally separate beds because I was travelling with a family member, not a partner. We were allocated a double room and there were no separate beds. An approach to the staff for reallocation toa room with separate beds was unsuccessful.

Excellent location and place to stay. Was a bit small but that has been par for the course. Quiet and a great place to stay. Didn’t eat but the restaurant looked good.

The hotel was very unique. It has old world character with modern amenities. The delicious breakfast was a great start to our day. We especially appreciated the convenience to the walled city.

A gem of a hotel. Located in very close proximity to all sites, shops, and restaurants in a very authentic location.

We arrived at noon for 4 PM check-in. There was no one at desk so waiter in restaurant just said 4 PM. We had reserved parking but had to pay to park in public lot till 4 - not ideal and cost an extra eight euros. Room was updated, clean and quiet. We had three adults and it had a double bed and a single. Breakfast included was a nice spread of some American type foods (cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs plus breads and jams, meats, pound cake, cherries etc. Very pleasant staff. Parking was $15 Euros per day cash and we had to remove the car by 1 PM. Convenient, quiet location to sites and shops.

Two minor reasons they miss the 5 stars, the A/C unit makes a disturbing noise while in operation and for a while after it is off. Enough to wake you. Also, they need to make the parking situation clearer, the parking right in front is limited to two hours, the parking the works for over night is on the other side of the city wall.
