We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was conveniently located and very close to the Bahnhof. Das Frühstück war gut. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The Hohenstaufen is located conveniently near the trainstation, but far enough to not be affected by train noise. The old town and main shopping district are in walking distance. The staff is friendly. The breakfast buffet war very good.

Lovely hotel; not too big, not too small. Friendly helpful staff, friendly quiet guests, small but perfectly adequate breakfast. We stayed with our two children in a family room and it was a good size with plenty of room for us all. Stayed in July and it could have done with aircon but not too bad. Parking was on street but right outside, limited to 4hrs during 0800-2000. Pay by phone app made it easy and we were only there overnight so time limit was not an issue. You might need to move your car if you stay longer but there were signs to multi-storey car parks. By train, it’s right opposite the main station. 5-10 min walk from shopping, 10-15min walk from the famous “corner” where the rivers meet and the cable car to the hill fort. Really good location for the price; good value, clean and comfortable. Would happily use them again.

The room was very big. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. There was a little cigarette smell not sure from what since the hotel is non smoking but didn't bother us too much. Breakfast was ok.

Hotel was conveniently located near the train station in a safe and clean area. The Deutsche Eck, rivers, and other attractions are a pleasant 30 minute stroll. I was early for my check-in, but the staff allowed me to store my bags. The room was ready promptly at 2:00. The breakfast service was good with lots of options. The room was clean, modern, but it would have been nice to have a refrigerator in the room. The WiFi was a bit spotty and could only get a strong signal near the room door. Despite these, I would definitely stay again

Very close to main train station, on a quiet street (our room was back side, away from trains) with restaurants nearby and a 10 min walk from pedestrian areas toward Deutsches Eck. Good dinner at hotel's restaurant.

Staff was nice. Good location right across the street from the train station. About 20 min walk to the Rhein and Biergartens. Stayed here so we could easily drive out to Burg and Eltz castle, Cochem castle, and Geierlay bridge. If you decide to rent a car and do the same trip make sure you figure out how a ride from the car rental place back to the hotel. Uber doesn’t exist here and a taxi was very hard to get!

Nice breakfast but I could hear all that was going on next door, below me and above me. I suspect that maybe people who book via Expedia get the worst rooms (out the back), and frankly they are terrible. Room smelt of damp too. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Very close to train station...helpful for our travels. Hotel staff very helpful and eager to make our stay comfortable.

Although it was very hot in August without air conditioning, staff went out of the their way to find fans for all of us ( 3 rooms)

Nice, comfortable hotel and very close to the train station. They also had pretty decent WiFi. However, it was about 20 minutes walk to the river and any good restaurants.
