Hotel Malleberg is a quaint hotel conveniently located near everything you want to see in Brugge. The hotel was quiet and great for a good night's sleep. My husband, our niece, and I shared a family room and it was spacious and comfortable. The owner and all staff were very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely stay here again if I am fortunate to visit Brugge again. (And next time I'll have the on-site breakfast in their medieval basement one morning which sounded amazing!)

A Wonderful Surprise – Exceeded All Expectations! We had such a fantastic experience at this hotel in Bruges that I felt compelled to share it. What started as a spontaneous decision to stay one more night in the city turned into one of the most memorable parts of our trip. We simply booked the top-rated hotel in Bruges without knowing it was vegan – a happy coincidence that felt like fate, especially as a vegan traveler, where finding the right place isn’t always easy. The room was incredibly spacious – more like a suite – with two individual rooms in the same unit, which made it perfect for comfort and privacy. But the real highlight was the breakfast: absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and completely plant-based. It was a joy to start our day with such care and flavor. Eva, our hosts and owner, was incredibly helpful and kind. She let us check in hours earlier than expected and even stored our luggage in the morning while the room was being prepared. That kind of hospitality made us feel truly welcomed and at home. This hotel not only exceeded our expectations but also made us wish we could stay longer. Highly recommended – whether you're vegan or not, this place is a gem!

This hotel is very centrally located, the staff is exceptional, and our family of 5 loved being able to stay in the same room, yet still have two separate sleeping areas. If we ever make it back to Bruges we will be staying here again for sure.

This cute little hotel is located just a couple of blocks from the main square in a historic building. Our room was spacious with nice views of the city below. We even had a welcome chocolate gift from a local chocolatier that we later visited! The staff was helpful and accommodating and the restaurant recommendations the hotel offered were great. Loved this spot and would stay here again

Thoroughly enjoyed this family run hotel. Eva was amazing and we appreciated her suggestions on where to eat. We also took a private guided tour with Nicel and that was also wonderful. Jewel of a place in Bruge. Great find and we would happily recommend this hotel.

Just returned from a fantastic few days in Bruges. This property could not be more central. The family suite we stayed in was very traditional with plenty of room and high ceilings. The bathroom was fine for the four of us. The owner at the desk was lovely, giving us great ideas for things to do and see. We’re not really breakfast people (travelled with two teenagers who typically don’t get up on a non-school day until midday!) so didn’t get to try the home-cooked breakfast unfortunately. Loads of great eating/drinking places a few steps away, including the pub next door which featured in the movie In Bruges. If you haven’t visited Bruges before, I thoroughly recommend it- with the Malleberg the perfect base to see it from.

The hosts Eva and Niils were perfect hosts. They looked after our every need and made sure that we had a wonderful time in Bruges. We highly recommend their quaint but well provisioned hotel. Niils took us on a Flanders Tour which was well designed allowing us to visit memorials, Museums and bunkers. The hotel was so close to the city centre, shops and souvenirs. Great place!!

The room was beautiful. It was spacious and well-decorated. The bathroom was small, but had everything we needed. There are only a few rooms, so it is pretty quiet. The best part was the young lady in reception. She was by far the most friendly and helpful hotel employee we encountered during our multi-city trip. The location is fantastic! Easy to walk to everything you want.

We just completed a four night family stay at the Malleberg hotel . On arrival we were met by the manager Eva at reception. Eva was very helpful recommending us what to do and where to go whilst we were in Bruges, especially the swimming in the canal. The hotel is very clean with good size beds and rooms . Breakfast is very healthy and is served in the cellar in the basement. You couldn’t ask for a better location, just minutes away from all the history this beautiful city has to offer . Would definitely recommend Malleberg , you won’t be disappointed.

We loved the location of this boutique hotel, it's 3-4 minutes to the main town square in Brugges and close to s many different restaurants. The breakfast was excellent, and the owners are doing a great job helping the tourists to get the most from their trip. We loved Eva's attention to details from the cleanliness of the rooms to all the options for breakfast. We would definitely consider Malleberg again when visiting Brugges.

The best part of our trip, Bruges is amazing city, and stay in Malleberg was the best election, Eva and Neil the Best.
