I’ll start with the parking, as it impacted the overall experience. The hotel has very limited parking spaces, which were always full during our stay. Guests are given a parking card for an off-site car park in the old town, requiring a €20 deposit. The car park is around a 15–20 minute drive from the hotel. Once you arrive, you then have to walk uphill and climb more than 100 steps to reach the parking area. By the time you get there, you're often soaked in sweat. Overall, parking the car takes around 30 minutes each time, which becomes very inconvenient.
The level of hygiene, particularly at breakfast, was also disappointing. On three separate occasions, we found hair in the scrambled eggs and vegetables. When I tried to raise the issue with the manager on duty, they avoided the conversation and ignored the feedback.
The kitchen facilities were also very basic. It was essentially a small kitchenette with minimal workspace and no extractor fan.
On a positive note, the location is excellent, very close to the beaches, and the room offered a lovely view.
