The check in information we received through Hotels was wrong. In the listing and our booking information it said that the front desk was staffed from 13:00 until 19:00. When we arrived at 14:00 there was a sign on the door that said the front desk is open from 9:00 - 13:00 and 16:00 - 19:00. Truly there is no front desk. There is an intercom that you use to talk to someone and they instructed you how to do a self check in which you need your booking number for. Your booking number is not your Hotels booking number it is different so I would recommend contacting the hotel after you do your booking and asking them for your booking number. If you do need help checking in or with anything you can call the front desk or WhatsApp them and they will send someone over from another building. Room could be cleaner there was mold in the shower.

Everything about this apartment is great except issues with check-in. Check-in was done through a machine located at the lobby. We did not have the reference number the machine asked for, so we had to call in to the property management for help. Also the scanner of the machine did not work and could not scan our passport info. We ended up manually typing in all of my passport info and that of my husband’s. Other than check-in, the apartment was great, clean and comfortable. The location is also convenient, a few minutes of walking to the metro station that will bring you to anywhere you want to go. Several grocery stores and markets were also nearby. Cafes, bakeries are all in walking distance. The apartment presents a great value for the money. We enjoyed our stay.

We have 4 people and rent a 2-bedroom apartment for 4 nights. We received 3 small rolls of toilet paper. We asked for an additional one on the last day, but it was rejected. The explanation is they only provide additional paper for those who rent more than 5 days.

Extreme "No Frills" experience. It is an apartment complex. Mostly quiet and within a km of La Sagrada Familia. Neighbor hood appears safe with convenience stores and food places nearby. The issue is total experience vs. cost. The apartment is reasonably spacious with ONE bathroom. We couldn't get any content on the TV. We ignored it because we were mostly outdoors. Internet was VERY slow and unstable. It was only available in the living room. Could only support one or two devices at a time. There was no cleaning service, including taking out the trash for the entire duration of the stay. Even though the Expedia listing mentioned laundry facilities, we couldn't find them. No laundry within the apartment. If there was a laundromat in the building, we could not find it. Pillows were extremely thin and there were no extra pillows to compensate. Overall, this was a bare minimum experience. I am left with the impression that I should have picked a hotel instead of this apartment.

Not recommended. The internet connection is literally non-existent, you can't even load a general web site, a simple search on google flights takes forever. Forget any work that you planned to do. I called the number provided for such purposes, listened to some nonsense about a router in a building, the essence of the response was "we won't do anything". It is a place run as cheaply as one can get away with. You communicate with a check-in machine and if anything goes wrong you are stuck waiting for someone to respond to you via an intercom machine on a wall who knows from where. If you are into these things - OK, but in all other cases stay in a place with some human interaction and an actually functioning Internet.

The air conditioning didnt work the whole time. Its was 27 degress... there were issues with bothe check in system and the lack.of communication from staff. He didnt tell us what was going on. We waited an hour to check in. But worst of all is that we were locked out of tje budiling at 4am because the door electrinc system stopped working. It took over an hour for someone to come let us in, no appologies and to top it off he said this had been happening for a few months now.... so then fix it!!! Not worth the money, not in a good location and the service was dreadful.

Only book this apartment if you are arriving early, if 4 german guys hadnt let us in we would have gone somewhere else, or had to sleep in the street. No concierge service after a certain time, when we got in all was good, roomy, clean, balcony and quieter area of barcelona with good transport links.

So first off, the good: 1) The apartment is decently situated next to both the regional rail and the metro though not in the city center 2) The apartment was spacious and generally clean and in good condition However, we encountered several issues with the apartment: first off, there is no concierge and you can only get help (either to check in or to get paper goods for the apartment) at very limited hours. This was annoying when you realized that you had to plan in advance to get toilet paper or to check someone in 2) The check in system is ATROCIOUS. It is difficult to use and the instructions are not sent far enough in advance to be useful for people who are traveling internationally and may not have data access. We had 3 travelers (very clear on the reservation), and we found out that we could not get a key for the 3rd traveler from the check in machine or anyone else, so she had to wait an hour just to be let into the building after a long flight and then could not even enter our apartment. This was very inconvenient and greatly impacted our stay. 3) There is a TON of construction noise from neighboring apartments that started at 9 AM for us. All in all, I definitely would not stay at Suites Arago anytime soon.

Apartment was very clean . Location was good .There were lots of bakeries and restaurants nearby and walkable distance to many places . Public transport was nearby . Check in process was very difficult .We had to make call from our international number to get the door open . Description of the place says it has laundry but there was no onsite laundry .They don't give you extra towels free of charge before 5 days . Toiletries means only hand soap .There is dishwasher but no soap for it .

Apartment was comfortable and located near to the metro line so only a few stops and you are in the city or at the beach. Not a great deal of restaurants around, however El Clot was good for a meal or to watch the soccer.

OK if you are resourceful on your own, as service is non existent. Be sure to email the management before you arrive as they do not send you the instructions for the automated checkin. Apartment was very nice and modern and quiet for Barcelona (in the residential quarter). Kitchen missing a few amenities, however there are many grocery stores nearby including a giant Carrefour to get what you need. Comfort was a bit lacking. the King Size bed was 2 small beds pushed together and the mattress was way too hard (papa bears only). 20 minute walk to the better beach and the Sagrada Familia. a short walk to the hop on hop off tour bus which is recommended. 15 minutes downtown via the commuter train.
