I was not impressed with the breakfast because people were picking thing up with their hands and putting back. Unfortunately I only had Tra.

Excellent location, room was big, modern with a big shower room and a balcony. The night porter was particularly friendly and very helpful. No coffee or milk in the room (tea and sugar though). The breakfast was a let down with stale pastries and underwhelming choices. Some areas (landings) look tired but overall, I would go back and recommend this hotel.

Our room was extremely noisy, there was construction going on until very late at night in the adjacent building so we could not sleep well any night that we were there. We told the staff and they said an upstairs room would be quieter but did not offer us any other options. We wished there was a gym on site. The breakfast was great, but we would have really appreciated boiled eggs. Having almond milk available for the coffee was great. I’m not sure why the upstairs room with a view was closed off most of the day except for breakfast and late night drinking. It would have been nice to use, since there is nowhere else to sit except for the bedrooms. The location is great. The bed in our room was very comfortable. The room was stocked with shampoo and soap, no conditioner.

I love the location, it's expensive if you have a smaller room, but that's because it's central Oporto.

Expensive for a 2-star hotel, but it's so close to Aliados metro station and 300 yards from Sao Bento.

I can only say positive comments about this hotel and staff. We stayed here for 1 week. Our room was big, clean and quiet. The staff was wonderful. They helped us with information about things to do in Porto and they were very nice. The continental breakfast was included too. Thank you Filipa and the rest of the staff at Vera Cruz Hotel. You guys are awesome!

Very friendly check-in staff, with really good communication skills. The room is as expected for the level of hotel. It was cozy, with plenty of storage. The bathroom was good quality with the shower providing decent hot water, however the toilet which was wedged into a small alcove of the bathroom which made a very tight fit when sitting on it. WiFi is included and very fast and no outage. Breakfast is included and is simple continental fair, but very tasty and kept us going until the early evening. Location is very close to the clubs and bars, but we heard absolutely no noise at all. Would definitely visit again. Thank you
