Good stay

Lovely hotel, great dinning and gorgeous spa. Nice option with an easy bus ride into town.

Beautiful space

If you don’t have a car, this may not be the hotel for you cause it’s not close to the center of Segovia. You will need to spend lots of money on Uber or taxi. They have a swimming pool and paddle court. Kids enjoyed them. FYI, they need $20 deposit for pool towels and paddle/balls. We love the breakfast - lots of choices. Fresh fruit were great. Kitchen staff were all pleasant. I’m not sure if I can say the same with the receptionists however. I don’t usually rate the staff but the ladies behind that counter were not the most pleasant nor helpful. I stayed in 3 different hotels in this trip (Madrid and Valencia) and that’s why I’m spending time to rate the staff in this hotel. The staff on the other two hotels were pleasant, approachable, helpful and and they went above and beyond to make us comfortable and welcome. They were not stuck up which I’m afraid how I would describe the receptionists at Hotel Candido. We will be back in Segovia for the next four years but I doubt I will stay at this hotel again.

The property was great the only thing I would like to mention is that the staff was rude and not very friendly but the property deserved a good review because is well kept and clean

Poor wifi connection and in a pretty remote area - not close to much of interest. We stayed for the indoor pool, only to find we had to pay 12 euros ppph extra!

Excelente muy limpio buena atención solo un poco lejos del centro pero enfrente puedes tomar un bus que te lleva directo😉

The room and bathroom were very good.The communal areas were very nice. the location was away from the tourist area but was walkable in 30 minutes and the bus stop located directly outside the hotel was convenient. Buses every 15 minutes and not expensive. The major disappointment was that the outdoor swimming pool was closed. If we were made aware of this during or after the booking process then we would have chosen a different hotel.
