Very comfortable and excellent services, the place was very cosy.

The hotel is located up in the hill near the palace. Many things in Potsdam city is located far from the central station, and this hotel was the same. So we took a taxi to get there, but we figured how to get around with public transportation next day and it was easy. Beautiful hotel, and have everything you need, breakfast had so many choices and very fresh!

The hotel is amazing! I’ll recommend it to my friends.

Comfortable, quirky hotel in quiet location right next to Sanssouci Park. Room spacious, quiet, well-appointed. Good bathroom. Lovely gardens with views. Excellent breakfast, eaten outdoors in fine weather. Service fine - a bit perfunctory. Few amenities, so perfect for a quiet and self-sufficient stay.

I love this place! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. And the rooms are fun and have great individual personalities. I stayed there a couple of years ago and liked it so much I came back. I definitely wasn't disappointed; if anything, they have worked to make things even more confortable.

Nice hotel in a nice area, but be aware that the check in closes at 22:00. If you arrive later make sure to obtain an entry code from the hotel beforehand, as otherwise you could be stuck at a closed front door as I was...

A ten minute walk to Sansoucci and 15 minutes to the center of Potsdam, Villa Monte Vino is convenient while also being removed from the business and noise of the center area. It’s a charming hotel with a wonderful tower from the top of which you can see the tv towers in Berlin, as well as the surrounding area.

Hotel is family-owned and operated so very different to chain hotels. Rooms have names and we recommend Lindstedt. Excellent breakfast but no dinner option. We walked to Hollandischviertel - good restaurants there. Hotel has a nice bar.

Hotel had large rooms for Germany with all the modern conveniences one could want...except for air conditioning. We stayed in a room called Checkpoint Charlie. It was very nice, up many stairs, and located very close to the Sans Souci and only a few minutes from downtown. Breakfast was included with our stay and it was a great spread. I found some of the staff were very friendly, others just okay. I have marked the hotel as pleasing overall, with slight reduction for hotel staff (pleasing but not excellent). The hotel facilities were nice, but I have reduced to pleasing as there was no elevator or easy way to get our bags up the 3 flights of stairs to our room. Finally, as noted above there was no air conditioning, only a fan in the room. It was 28-30 celcius while we stayed in Potsdam, and an a/c would have been appreciated. Had it not been so hot (or if you are traveling any time other than in the summer) I would have said the room comfort was excellent.

From check in to checkout, you felt like your were a special gues of a family who were happy to have you as their guests. Beautiful location, beautifully a appointed room, and a lovely old style wooden bar with modern touches to enjoy a drink.

Had a massive apartment with 2 bedrooms (for 1 person!). Free parking (although rather narrow space). Great breakfast, close to centre but very quiet area.

I was visiting Postdam for a conference at a nearby hotel. The conference Hotel was fully booked so I ended up at Hotel Villa Monte Vino, and I'm very glad that I did. The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were superb. This was a far superior hotel in my opinion.
