This was my third time staying at the hotel. My first two times were impeccable. Five stars, this time the room I was given was S4. The room was not up to par with the hotel I have been accustomed to.
1-the WiFi in the room was not working the entire time
2-the tv was not working at all and every channel had static
3-I was told the room was a complimentary upgrade but it was VERY dated and should not be used for your guests
4-the room smelled of mildew
5-no hot water from the bathroom and kitchen sink
6-housekeeping finally showed up at 4:15pm when I came back to the room. I asked them to leave the room as is since I was already back in the room
7-day of check out, housekeeping walked into the room without knocking on the door. I was getting ready to leave the hotel and asked them to come back after I checked out.
8-toaster oven provided was out of order. The baking tray would not stay up while it was in use.
I spoke with the front desk night these issues during my stay and expressed my disappointment.
I also work at a hotel in New York and these are not the standards we strive for. I’m very disappointed with my trip this year at Kosta Palace Hotel.
