Great bed, the room was a bit too hot so maybe a fan would have been nice. And the toilet needed reference as it was very worn and there was some wear and tear. However, as usual the room was immaculately clean, and the staff very friendly as well. Ive stayed a few times in the hotel now, so recommend it with hands. Great breakfast as well. One recommendation is to extend the breakfast time until 9.00 am instead of 8.30 am.

Fairly basic room, but fine for our purpose. Couldn't work the shower, though to be fair, the staff member said he would have showed us if we'd asked.

I did read the comments of others and can attest to the staff going over and above with fans, ice, cooling medicine for us during the hot spell. Clean refurbished rooms. Ample parking and our specific locality to the venue we attended could not of been better.

The staff here are some of the most accommodating you’ll find - friendly helpful and attentive (providing a fan for example during the heat wave). The room was comfy and quiet, and there is parking should you need it. It’s all a little tired, cracks in the walls etc, but the room was clean and it is a perfectly fine stay. If the price was £10/15 cheaper a night it would be excellent value for money - as it stands, I would say it’s ok for what it is, especially if you are here for work. Like I say, cannot fault the staff!

Lovely old Georgian property and very helpful proprietor. We had a very good cooked breakfast & there is ample parking at the rear of the property. Our room was quiet at the top of the property but there were 2 flights of stairs. The rooms were very clean. We would stay there again and it was handy for eateries & pubs.

On arrival at the hotel, the receptionist was warm, welcoming, and friendly. The room was small but clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. The car park is on the small side, and it's easy to get through. Overall, this hotel is great for short stays.
