The room smelled really bad when we entered it, over time it got better. The pool was by reservation for 1 hour with very limited spot, This is not mentioned on the website during reservation.

We stayed at Hotel Podhrad to celebrate our anniversary. The hotel is on th the expensive side, but in line with the surrounding options. The parking areas available are scattered around, so be prepared to walk a bit in case the adjacent parking spots are taken. The included breakfast was okay, but a bit lacking compared to other hotels we've been to in the Czech Republic. The rooms are okay in general: - There is no air conditioning. - The water temperature in the shower seems to fluctuate and there is no holder for the shower head to comfortably wash your hair. - The English TV channels, as few as they are, do not work. - The pillows are very, very thin. The included wellness amenities include a Finnish sauna, hot tub and small swimming pool. Massages are available at an extra cost and need to be scheduled in advance.

I did not realize that my room had no air conditioning until I got there. It was a very hot night.

Hotel was just 10 min walk from castle, it was perfect for us since we were doing Cesky Krumlov after castle. Staff was so friendly and helpful we have nothing bad to say about service. Breakfast was good normal buffet with essentials.

This was our third stay there Nd we would stay there agin. Nice place, nothing fancy, but clean. They could improve the quality of beds thou!

great location, but rooms need to be equipped with fan or air-condition unit as during heat wave summer days it is unbearable to stay or even sleep in the room. the rest is great.

Booked Hotel because of Sauna but Sauna was not possible to go due to reservations

Horrible . ne mérite pas un 4 étoiles , à peine un 2. personnes à la réception désagréables . chambre dans dépendance , moquette sale. absolument pas d obscurité . manque des lattes au lit.petit déjeuner très banal.

Low cost services for high price

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage in ausgezeichneter Lage. Wir waren vorher schon da und kommen sicher wieder.

Ubytovani bylo v te 2. casti - ve dvore. Tragicka byla postel, kdy se matrace provalila a spani nebylo pohodlne. Zaves byl dost pruhledny a tedy nedostatecna tma, lednice velmi vrcela. Prvni den netekla uplne tepla voda.

Hübsches Hotel in Laufnähe zum Schloss, also in guter Lage. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Vor allem das sehr gute & sehr abwechslungsreiche Frühstück hat uns überrascht!

Nocleg dostaliśmy w sąsiednim budynku, w którym znajdował się wcześniej inny hotel, też 4-gwiazdkowy. Nie zasługuje na 4 ani nawet 3 gwiazdki. Po pierwsze - brak klimatyzacji, po drugie - nieestetyczna łazienka , w której zamiast oczekiwanej kabiny prysznicowej była wanna z plastikową zasłonką, po trzecie - śniadanie w głównym budynku z podzielonymi na połówki drożdżówkami i bułkami , grubo pokrojonymi ogórkami itp., po czwarte - brak dostępu do strefy spa, gdzie jak się okazało, należało mieć wcześniejsza rezerwację, do tego bardzo nieuprzejma pani z obsługi. Plusy to duży , dosyć ładny pokój,darmowe wi-fi, czystość, parking oraz miła pani w recepcji.

Hotel je velmi dobře umístěn a je vhodný jako výchozí bod k výletům do okolí. Drobná nepříjemnost vás očekává, pokud chcete jít brzy spát a máte okna do ulice. Ta je poněkud hlučnější a vzhledem k absenci klimatizace není možné spát se zavřenými okny v horkých dnech. Skvělá je hodina v místním bazénu a vířivce v rámci pobytu. Snídaně je průměrná. Celkově jsme byli spokojeni.
