EXCELLENT STAFF

We decided to walk to the hotel from Niigata Station, not realizing it was about to rain. It was a downpour by the time we got to the lobby, but one of the staff saw us coming and met us with dry towels at the door! It was so thoughtful! And that was just the start of great service. We loved our stay and will definitely come again!

Great customer service. Lovely room but a little small. Too far to walk from station without trashing your suitcase. There are many hotels and restaurants near Niigata train station. I suggest one of them. Nothing near this property.

Spectacular hotel, excellent staff and great stay. Nice large hotel with good sound insulation inside didn’t hear any other rooms or the outside so very good for a sleep. Also the room was large compared to a lot of other hotels. Fast elevators. Everything you need within walking distance.

Great hotel and friendly staff.

Hotel was about a 15 minute walk from railway station. Check in was good. We had room 815 it was facing the water. Beds firm and were able to get bigger firmer pillows. Room size was comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful lots of choices.

The breakfast spread was by far the best I’ve had, it was not only very affordable (¥2400 if you make a reservation one day prior) and the food spread was also very varied. There were 3 types of Niigata rice to choose from, and also some of the best bread I’ve ever had. The ensuite bathroom was spacious, and the showerhead had good water pressure. The room was also big enough to open 2 medium sized luggages without having to navigate too precariously around. The traditional Shoji in the room also added more character to the room. Humidifiers and even pillows of different heights were available for rent (ANA Crowne Plaza calls it their sleep advantage), which definitely improved our sleep. Location of the hotel was also very convenient; 10mins from the train station (flat ground, easy for luggage to be pull across), 5mins from LoveLa Bandai (a mall with all the shops that you need) and multiple bus stops.

Staffs are friendly, but we can hear next room guests talking. Dined at their Japanese restaurant at B1, excellent service and good quality of food. 10 minutes walk to Niigata station, good place to shop around it’s CoCoLo shopping center inside train station.

It has everything you need, including things you might not think you would need. Well-thought-out hotel in terms of services and amenities. Only issue i had was the hotel not receiving the deposit i paid to Expedia. Will need to check with Expedia when i get back.
