I was disappointed that breakfast was not included with the cost. Our room only got cleaned once (it was scheduled for a daily clean) our door was difficult to open and I found a roach at the coffee pots in the loby. I caught it in a napkin and gave it to a staff member. Beds were too hard ans uncomfortable and the enameled was missing on part of the bathtub. Rooms needs to be upgraded.

For it being a Hilton Garden, it really wasn’t that nice. Also, it was never stated anywhere that their pool/hotub was shut down for renovation. It was the only reason I booked them cause they were the only ones in that area that had an indoor pool. I would have stayed somewhere cheaper had I known.

The reason we chose to stay here was the indoor pool, we were disappointed when we checked in and was told it was closed for repairs! They comp our breakfast!

I called a couple of days before we came and asked if the pool was open and the lady said yes. I called the day before to make sure and the lady informed me it was and we get there the next day and pool was closed. That was the main reason we were coming so our kid could swim. We also downgraded our room and they still charged us for the original room we had instead of lowering our price.

Hotel was clean and convenient. I did not appreciate the fact that I was told complimentary and when we went to the breakfast area the next morning I was told by a severely pushy and wired employee that it was $15 per person as if I was trying to steal breakfast. I spent too much time having to go back and forth clearing it up. She even had the nerve to ask for a tip! But I will say the night time bartender/server was very nice, friendly and deserving of the tip he received.

The stay was horrible, one computer working when I got there and after 10 min of waiting she finally said I will check you out in the office. That took another 10 minutes. Both elevators inspections were out of date (10/12/24) and when I got back after a long day I went to get ice, my key card got stuck in the door, had to walk back downstairs and tell them and the girl at the desk was calling for the maintenance man and she didn’t even have the walker talkie on while she was texting the same time in her phone. She acted as if she could care less, the maintenance guy came up and he couldn’t get the card out and how to pry the door open, I had to pack everything up, move across the hall and the girl from the from the desk that had come up to give me a new key, neither the green nor red light on the key reader worked. Then for a $200 room, breakfast was $15 l!!! Whoever the manager is should be fired. I will never stay there again and I have told everyone not to stay there and I have a lot of friends that go to Starkville!!

The price does not match the condition of the hotel. The bathroom was disgusting, the toilet was rusted, mildew and soap scum was all over the shower walls, it smelled horrible, the refrigerator did not work and the iron leaked rusty water on my clothes!!! Very disappointed and I will NOT BE BACK!!!

While the property was safe and of average quality, the hotel front desk staff were not only incompetent but also unprofessional as I was initially charged an exorbitantly high rate and after booking online, staff twice neglected to authenticate my room keys, which caused an unpleasant and inconvenient experience. To add insult to injury, the staff insisted that I verify my room key by using an alternative exit door to leave the premises and use to key to reenter the building. This was an unfortunate encounter and the front desk staff should receive better training.

Everyone was friendly. The checkin went great. Beds were okay comfortable. The worst part is they want you to pay for breakfast. We paid over $300 for a room because of game night and then you have to pay $15 a person for breakfast. I think that’s a little ridiculous.
