Beautiful hotel overlooking Elbe

Wauw! Many reviews are describing a worn down and old hotel. Well - old is true. And worn down is semi true on a few things like the windows and carpets. BUT! Travelling more than 100 days a year, I have rearly visited a hotel with this amount of charme! They truly keep this in the 60’s style. It is amazing - like a small German time machine going back to those times. And the staff were all very friendly and helpfull. Ofcourse it is old! It’s from the 60’s.. I really like their approach to keep it in this setting. Our room was totally refurbished and very nice indeed. Very clean. With the greatest view over the river. Talking about the view - both from the restaurant and the terrasse (where we enjoyed a beer in the afgternoon) there is an amazing scenery of the river. We were also able to chgarge our Tesla at their Tesla Destination Charger. Excellent! I will not hesitate to go back :-)

This is the most charming little, historical hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment we were there. The breakfast is delicious and we enjoyed eating at the onsite restaurant for dinner several nights. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Thank you Hotel Bellevüe!

The chap running the hotel was so kind and thoughtful. The evening meal was freshly cooked and delicious and he had an excellent red wine from the Pfalz region. He also provided excellent gluten-free bread for breakfast. Odd time of year to stay so not many other guests. I could read in the evening in the bar area.

The photo on the web site did not lie. The view from the hotel was stunning. It was a pleasure to taje your time in the dining room and stare out of the picture windows. The meals were delicious and served with just the right timing. The old town of Lauenberg an der Elbe was a wel-signposted easy stroll. The hotel bedroom had been recently refurbished to a high standard.

Rigtig hyggelig. God beliggenhed med udsigt til Elben. Noget slidt, men værelserne ok. Flot badeværelse.

Sehr freundliches Personal, moderne, große Zimmer. Ruhig gelegen. Traumhafter Blick über die Elbe. Es hat und sehr gut gefallen.

Typisch 60er Jahre Style. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Himmlische Ruhe. Es war sehr schön !

Zufallstreffer im Spätsommer gebucht, traumhaft gelegen für Fahrradausflug oder Wanderung. Toller Blick! Zimmer modern, Personal nett- Frühstücksraum mit etwas 60er Jahre Charme. Gerne wieder!

An der Sauberkeit des Hotels muss noch nachgebessert werden.
