I would like to provide some feedback regarding an issue I experienced with the front desk service.
On the morning of March 28, between 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM, I asked a female front desk staff member for help with calling a local restaurant to make a reservation. The restaurant does not accept online bookings, and as I do not speak Japanese, I hoped for some assistance. The staff member was very kind and willing to help. She attempted to call the restaurant for me, but it had not opened yet.
I returned to the front desk at around 6:00 PM the same day to follow up, and spoke to a different female staff member. This time, I was told that the hotel does not provide this kind of service and was advised to book online myself, despite my explanation that the restaurant does not accept online reservations.
This inconsistency was disappointing, especially since the morning staff was helpful and willing. I believe a simple request like this—particularly for travelers who don’t speak the local language—should be supported for a better guest experience.
