This hotel was awesome. We were only here one night on a trip through the Black Forest, but it was great. It's cute and quaint and quiet. The dinner in the hotel is truly one of the best I have ever had and I've traveled a lot of Europe. The menu is set, but I ate many things I wouldn't normally and loved every one of them. The menu when I was three was a homemade soup and pork cordon blue. The chef and waiter in the restaurant are very kind and did their best to help us understand their menu in English. The Alpirsbacher local beer is one of the best German beers I've ever had. I hope to return here and spend a few more days. If the spa is anywhere near as nice as the restaurant, it would be fantastic!

We had an excellent stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good selection of hot and cold breakfast buffet, evening meals were top quality.

Very nice rural area hotel. Friendly attentive staff. Good amenities - pool (nice but not big enough for laps), sauna, exercise room (ok), pool table. Huge room with deck, lots of towels, bathrobes, safe and fridge in room, big tub. A little far from attractions - definitely need a car.Excellent food.

The hotel was wonderful. It is in a small village and was very relaxing. It has a lovely pool and sauna. The black forest cake was delicious as were the evening meal and a breakfast that is included in the price of the room.

I booked this hotel on the back of trip advisor reviews I had read praising the service level as to me this is of primary importance in a hotel. I can only add to the praise heaped upon Torsten and his team. It seemed that nothing was too much trouble for Torsten if it ensured his guest's satisfaction.... Arriving with a wet tent in the car after 5 days camping in Spa, Belgium I asked for Torsten's help and the ground floor games room was promptly taken out of service and re-designated a tent drying room! That's only one little example of the willingness to assist that makes this hotel special in my view. It's also rather beautifully appointed with all sorts of intricate displays of local artwork and crafts. A real hidden gem and a hotel I will return to in the future. Thank you Torsten and team!

Klasse Ausflug! Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt! Hotel mit viel Herzblut eingerichtet und alles sehr sauber und gut in Schuss!

Das Haus, ruhig gelegen, ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail und sehr viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Die Inhaber führen es persönlich, sowohl den Service als auch die Küche. Hier stimmt einfach alles: Ausstattung, Sauberkeit, Frühstück, Abendessen, freundlicher Service.

Tolles Hotel mit hervorragendem Essen und Service. Da werden noch Wünsche von den Augen abgelesen. Wir waren mit Hund und hochschwangerer Frau dort, es wurde ganz selbstverständlich auf alles Rücksicht genommen. Sehr Familien- und Tierfreundlich. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

Das Hotel hat sehr viel Charme. Es ist sauber und das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich und entgegen kommend. Ich habe nichts auszusetzen.

très bel hotel vraiment très calme, déco des chambres dans le style du coin , salle de bain superbe très moderne avec douche à l'italienne , radio, literie grand confort, le balcon est un plus; petit dejeuner vraiment bien dans une salle joliment décorée , personnel accueillant, piscine agréable et bien chaude; les prix du mini bar restent chers , je trouve qu'une bouteille d'eau offerte en chambre serait la bienvenue pour un hotel de ce standing , au prix relativement élevé pour une nuit

Zeer vriendelijke en correcte bediening. Zo had ik per ongelijk een verkeerde (duurdere) boeking via hotels.com geboekt en dit werd door de hotelsbeheerder gecorrigeerd (zonder dat hij dit verplicht was). Mooie accomodaties en een bande beste Wi-Fi's die ik in een hotel ben tegengekomen. Ondanks ochtendverkeer ca 70 minuten van Stuttgart. Dit hotel was voor mij de omweg van 70 minuten waard

4-Sterne-Wellness-Hotel in einem kleinen Dorf in der Nähe von Freudenstadt im Schwarzwald. Sehr freundliches Personal, große Zimmer mit Aufteilung in Schlafbereich und Sitzecke/Wohnzimmer und großem Bad mit großer Duschkabine sowie Balkon. Es gibt einen Pool, eine Whirlwanne, Sauna und Hamam, die von allen Hotelgästen genutzt werden können, außerdem eine Bar mit Dart, Kicker und Billard. Es werden auch Massagen und Kosmetikbehandlungen angeboten (Extra-Kosten), die wir aber leider aus Krankheitsgründen nicht nutzen konnten. Das im Preis inbegriffene Frühstücksbuffet bot eine umfangreiche Auswahl und im hoteleigenen Restaurant haben wir an einem Abend ein 5-Gänge-Menü genossen (Extra-Kosten).

2 nuits très agréables et au calme avec notre enfant de 1,5 ans. Le personnel est très serviable et attentionné. Le dîner du soir est de très bonne qualité. Nous avons avec plaisir profité de la piscine et des massages. Nous recommandons cet établissement.
