Very rude receptionists, not friendly and unhelpful. Called ahead of booking and was told by the staff breakfast was included with the booking, showed up and was told we had a pay £12 a day per person for breakfast. Ended up paying an additional £120 for two nights for 4 of us. Receptionists were rude about the situation. We booked a room with a balcony and did not receive the room we booked. Other members of the family received the balcony room and during the night it had rained and water entered the room, no refund was given Wouldn’t return back to this hotels, completely ruined our stay in Vieste. The parking is a joke, tight and if you don’t get a spay you have to pay £20 for the day which is ridiculous. Wouldn’t recommend.

Wonderfully friendly staff. Super room with an amazing sea view terrace, which was huge. Very clean everywhere. Plenty of choice at the breakfast buffet. Great location , very near to the main, long sandy beach but also just a short walk to the castle, harbour and old part of town.

Perfect for tourist groups, but I prefer a smaller and quite hotel for my next stay in Vieste. The hotel is well equipped for all types of events in the tourist season, but had not enough staff to handle the breakfast time in off season.

Elegant four star hotel that was a joy to stay in and be served so well with delicious food in the large restaurant with a live pianist in the bar after dinner. Old style comfort hurrah!

Hotel Degli Aranci is a very nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff and fantastic amenities. The breakfast is amazing. The bar is just the thing you need in the afternoon or evening. Lovely spaces inside and out for spending time with friends or family. (It wasn't really beach season so we didn't get to take advantage of that). And the location is great. Just a few blocks from the main road and piazza so one can stroll to dinner without having to be bothered by the noise of the crowds. Highly recommend.

Degli Aranci is overall a lovely hotel. The staff are friendly. The rooms are spotless. The location is ideal. You can easily walk to the old town as well to the gorgeous beach where the hotel has a private section. Breakfast was plentiful and included eggs and savory dishes. The only complaint we had was that our bed was very short. The layout of the property is a little quirky, but the staff are always around to direct you. Parking was very easy. Overall, we'd recommend this hotel.

Vieste is a great little place. Old town up on the hill, narrow lanes to walk around late at night after dinner. Hotel was basic but clean and presentable. Off street parking a plus. Staff were excellent and very helpful. We had a very nice night there and would recommend a stay in Vieste. We found a fantastic restaurant on the water where all the locals ate. Fresh seafood, a jug of local red and a few lemoncillos to finish. Great time.

The hotel is a little dated,. The bathroom had no standing shower, although a jacuzzi bath was provided. Breakfast is served in the basement, where staff tend to provide average service. Not my favourite place to get a decent.breakfast cappuccino.

We arrived at 9.30pm after driving from Bari airport, to be told by a rather cheerless female reception person (owner/manager?) that the restaurant closed at 9.15 and there was no food, not even a snack, available. We flopped exhausted after a long day's travel and went to bed hungry! We were alone in breakfast next morning, a large tour party having left early. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and welcome, except that (in common, we were to find, with most "hot food" in our hotels) the bacon, sausages & scrambled eggs were at best luke-warm. On departure after three nights I told the same female person at reception that my dinner the previous evening had been very poor, with luke-warm vegetables and an over-cooked dry fish, badly mutilated in the filleting process. And a rather spooky, cadaverous-looking waiter who had spent much of the meal keeping watch on our progress finally disappeared and we were never offered dessert or coffee. And, still at only c.9pm, the bar was in darkness and unattended - so no coffee or drinks there either. For these failings and disappointments we were granted a ten Euros reduction! This is not a bad hotel. We were comfortably accommodated in a clean room, but - with the exception of friendly and attentive service from the barman - we always had the impression that it was geared up to catering for large parties and, really, they could have done without us! Such a shame, as the hotel is well-located and potentially has much to offer.

A pleasant and comfortable modern hotel conveniently placed for the old town and the beach and within walking distance of bus services. Good value for money out of season! Good buffet breakfast.

We had a lovely stay, august 2014. hotel is 5 min walk to beach, and i believe they also have a shuttle, but we choose to walk. Nice pool as well, yes you have to wear a bathing cap but they sell them around the corner at the supermarket. Breakfast well stocked and wide selection of eggs, meats, pastries, fruit. 10 min walk to centro storico, full of restaurants and shops. We had a "superior" room which was quite spacious, with an unexpected but enjoyable whirlpool tub and a decent size balcony looking toward the sea. Although parking is listed as costing money, we were able to park for free at hotel. Staff very helpful and even allowed us to check out late (at 3pm) for free so we could enjoy another day at the beach. Wireless in the room also a bonus. I visit Italy every year and would definitely return to this place and this hotel.

Unfortunately we had a room with a view of the car park/wall, though the room itself was good size and very clean. The hotel had one v small bar which was open limited hours.

Staff were charming, friendly and helpful, even to the extent of helping with computer problems. It feels like a family The position, near the town and even nearer the beach were excellent. Try their antipasto, outstanding. Lovely, comfortable lounges, which welcomed you the moment you set foot in the hotel, and a sunny terrace. Private parking.
