The hotel is situated in a spectacular location and not withstanding the swimming pool being out of use it is great place to spend time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a long way from anywhere and car hire is essential. The only downside is that dinner menu is not particularly extensive with very few vegetarian options this means in my opinion that the hotel is best suited for short stays which is a shame because the hotel has a lovely ambience.

Staff is ever so helpful, rooms are clean, views are excellent; sadly you have to drive quite a way to have a swim, otherwise this is a excellent hotel in a quiet place, ~25m away from the ocean coast

No AC in our room and did not offer us a room with AC. Not enough servers in restaurant. Waited 30 minutes after being seated before someone came to serve us.

This has to be the most secluded and away from it all hotel in the whole Canary Islands! It was like stepping back in time staying here, very well maintained but with all the original character. It was a shame the pool was out of use but this was out of their control. Breakfast is very good quality, staff are friendly and location is perfect.

The ocean view rooms and the endless beaches very quiet and relaxing and easy to just get lost in translation ... the perfect spot for a getaway from everything

We had a lovely stay at the Parador. Check in 12 and check out 12 so we made the most of our time there. Fantastic breakfast bugfet.

The hotel is in a perfect location if you just want to “stay and hideaway”. Apart from a bar/restaurant about 500m along the road there is nothing else around. The restaurant is very reasonable and offers a good menu. The situation of the hotel means you have to drive back along the coastal road to go anywhere on the island. Staff at the hotel are very friendly but the hotel could do with some renovation. Pool too cold to use during our stay and sadly jacuzzi was out of order.

Excellent parador in a wonderful location. Very helpful staff allowed us to change to a balcony room. Lovely swimming pool and good table-tennis facilities. A bit remote but shops and restaurants accessible by car.

This hotel is beautifully located and has a spectacular view on the ocean. You can hear the waves crashing from your room if you are on the oceanside. It’s in need some some upkeep and does feel dated, but it’s a rustic untouched island to begin with so if you are looking for state of the art bells and whistles El Hierro isn’t for you to begin with. Staff lovely & we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. WiFi weak but that was our experience elsewhere except at airports in the Canaries.

Overall experience good but let down by evening menu,,4 out of 7 nights they did not have my choice of dessert 2 out of 7 starter not available.

This is probably the best hotel on the island. The views were spectacular in the sea view rooms.. HOWEVER, there is nothing in the surrounding area so you are restricted to the dining experience in the hotel unless you want to drive or take a taxi and the hotel dining experience was not great.

I have long been a fan of the paraders throughout the canaries islands. I feel they are relatively comfortable and up to date despite the old world charm. I feel like a traveler back in the early 1900s yet I get to use Wifi! The staff is amazing no matter which one you stay at. My family is from La Palma (sister island) and I still sometimes stay at that parador because of the comfort and service

Nice hotel with quiet guests and atmosphere in a secluded corner of the island. Ideal for relaxing. The restaurant is not spectacular but the service is good. Very pleasant stay at the sound of the waves.

Einfach alles, lediglich der Frühstücksraum könnte besser klimatisiert sein.

Erholsam, abgelegen vom Trubel, Wanderweg vor dem Hotel, Gerichte teilweise nicht verfügbar, Frühstück ok, jedoch für längere Zeit zu eintönig, Pool seit 2022 nicht mehr in Betrieb, Keine Liegestühle oder Sonnenschirme, windige Gegend. Wir würden wieder kommen.

Sehr schönes Zimmer direkt am Meer. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Sehr gutes Restaurant. Freundliche Barkeeper helfen mit Eiswürfeln und warmer Milch.
