A wonderful Parador situated right off the Motorway junction so no messing around trying to find the place. Always calm, clean & cool. Wonderful swimming pool set in peaceful gardens. Welcoming, happy staff especially in the Bar cafeteria & formal restaurant. Excellent food as you expect in a Parador. Very aware & considerate regarding allergies. We use this Parador twice a year & it never fails to please us. Thank you all.

We have now stopped here a few times on our journey between Santander & Malaga. The most recent time we stopped for two nights and enjoyed visiting the nearby windmills in our JBA sports car. It was the disappointing end of our drive that caused us to seek help from the hotel staff. Alberto on reception went well above and beyond to ask a local vehicle rescue company to help us. He deserves an award or something.

No air conditioning—it was impossible for me to sleep. Never again.

Very clean room, staff were exceptional, very polite and friendly. The food was very good.

Spacious room with good balcony. Good size bathroom, very good shower.

This was our 3rd overnight stay. A good location between Santander and Costa Del Sol. Next time will be our return journey when we plan staying 2 nights and exploring the area in my little sports car. See DocksideGlyn for videos of that.

Amazing food!!!!

Manzenares was just a stop over on a roadtrip, it suited our needs. The evening meal though a tad expensive, was delicious.... And I am a fussy eater. We had a walk into town, it was siesta time and like a ghost town. It looked like it was once a very prosperous town.

This Hotel is one of our favourites. We stay here twice every year on our way from Bilbao down to our house in Southern Spain & then on our return trip.From front of house welcome to the Maintenance men everyone had a welcome & a smile. Food excellent.

We spend the night having dinner and breakfast the next day. I read some old comments about the noise from the highway but this matters was fixed with sound proof door windors

The hotel is in a very convenient location when travelling down to Southern Spain. They do take dogs (despite Expedia site saying they don’t) and have great grounds to walk around. The hotel has a nice cafe (with outside and inside eating) as an alternative to a formal restaurant.
