Amazing family hotel with very helpful receptionist Sofia Convent close to harbour all shops and amazing restaurants

We loved the hotel. The staff was wonderful and very helpful. The loft area was a little tight and we did hit our heads getting up there and we are not tall people. But it was comfortable and we slept well. Our only complaints would be the towels were very hard and the drapes were very thin so at night there was little privacy. The pool looked great. We enjoyed this hotel and would stay there again.

Nestled in a perfect location close to the beach and port, this charming retreat offers a combination of comfort, elegance, and warm hospitality that makes every guest feel truly special. A huge shoutout to Dimitri, Sophia and family who made our experience unforgettable. Their kindness, attentiveness, and dedication to ensuring every detail was perfect made us feel right at home. Whether it was offering local tips, making sure we had everything we needed or simply greeting us with a smile, their hospitality was second to none. The rooms were clean, bright and airy with air con if needed, the pool area with the mix of shaded floor cushions, day beds or sun loungers was the perfect place to chill while sipping a cold beer or cocktail from the bar and the overall vibe was serene and welcoming. If you're looking for a place to relax while enjoying genuine Greek hospitality, it really doesn't get any better than Yialos Ios Hotel. Thank you Dimitri and Sophia for making our stay so special, we can't wait to return!

Amazing hotel and the staff were fantastic. The pool area was spotless and so comfortable and the pool was great. The room was also fabulous and the comfort of the bed was the best we have had in Greece. Definitely return for another stay.

Good location, beautiful setting, clean and new.

Hotel was just a few minute walk from the port, very impressive first impression when we walked up to check in and saw the pool area! Check in was quick and easy, gave us welcoming homemade lemonade. Everyone was super friendly and helpful! Breakfast buffet every morning was amazing! So many choices and was all delicious! Room was super cute and had a patio with pool view. Only two things I would mention would be the water from the sink and shower are noticeably salt water and the bed is on the upper level which is noticeably hotter (even with the A/C on) however they did have a circulating fan up there to move air, also very steep stairs to get to. Didn’t bother me, just something to mention. Also allowed us to store our luggage and use the pool for several hours after checkout until we had to catch the ferry. Overall, 10/10 stay!!

Each area well thought out with the clients best interest to enjoy a truly beautiful experience. The pool perfect. The staff kind, engaging, and knowledgeable. We’re definitely looking forward to revisiting this peaceful & stunning hotel.

We were in Paros and stayed at a 5 star hotel. We then came here and what a difference! This should be a 10 star hotel! The hotel staff cares about their guests and it shows. It is family owned and is so convenient! The bus station is at the corner of the hotel which takes you into town or the beach. The espresso martini we had at the bar was amazing! The pool was amazing! The room was amazing! We will be staying here every time we come back to Ios. Thank you staff!!

Amazing place to stay in Ios. Very family friendly and run by a super kind family. The pool and bar were highlights we enjoyed every day. Overall this place is a great deal for the price and if we are ever in Ios again we would stay here.

I recently stayed at Yialos Ios Hotel and had a mixed experience. Initial Room Experience: The initial room was disappointing (traditional economy). It was dark, humid, with yellowed pillows and a barely functional hair dryer. The door would lock with difficulty, and my window faced a junk pile. Insects were coming in from under and around the door frame, making it impossible to sleep for two nights (I was afraid the insects were going to get on the bed). When I reported this, the front desk dismissed my concerns, assuring me the insects wouldn’t harm me. Room Upgrade: I paid for an upgrade, and while the new room was much better, it still had issues like the bathroom bin trash which was left from previous visitors. The room wasn’t ready at the discussed time, which was frustrating as I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my valuables at the front desk (these were work work related devices which provide MFA). Breakfast: The breakfast offerings were underwhelming (I will admit to being picky with food). Safety and Staff Interaction: A positive aspect was the presence of a night guard who helped me feel safe. Positive Aspects: Once I changed rooms, my stay improved. The pool area is fantastic, and having a restaurant on-site was very convenient. Recommendations: I do not suggest staying in the traditional or economy rooms located in the old building. If you stay at Yialos Ios Hotel, book a room in the newer buildings, these are listed as superior and deluxe rooms.

This is a very professionally family run hotel. Dimitri, Sophie and Dimitri's parents cannot do enough for you. They want to know that every guest has a positive experience. When i asked if they have gluten free bread, they arranged that it would be available for breakfast each day. The family ensure the hotel is cleaned to the highest standards. This is our second stay at The Yialos hotel. The first time, we stayed in one of the smaller rooms so this year, I booked a bigger room. This of course is about personal choice. The hotel is ideally situated for the port and is a short bus ride into town. It is also close enough to walk to/ from town. They make amazing frozen pina coladas. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful 4 night stay at the Yialos IOS. We were given such a warm welcome on arrival, the staff are so friendly & helpful. The pool area is immaculate & beautiful to around. Good breakfast options with a small hot selection & pastries available. The room was clean and a decent size with a lovely patio area looking out to the pool. Our only minor niggle was some of the fixtures/fittings are looking a little tired, but this does not affect the stay or cleanliness of the room. Good location near the port if you don’t want the rowdiness of nearby Chora/Myloplatas (easy accessible by bus/taxi) if you do fancy a party. We would definitely return. Thank you Yialos!
