This is a must stay hotel! Roomy like a condo with all the hotel amenities.

What a beautiful experience. The staff was wonderful and knowledgeable. The gardens and ponds were stunning and very hard to leave behind! The hot tub and pool area was pristine and I loved having a kitchen. Thank.you for such a wonderful stay!!

Yes wonderful

It is a very nice property and I would normally highly recommend it. However, it is very odd. We had a two-bedroom suite, and there is no door or privacy around the main en-suite toilet. I was told that it was a Swedish design. Well, that is fine for Sweden, not for N. America. I certainly would not have booked it! If they are so proud of it, why don't they announce it or warn guests? Show some pictures of the toilet out in the open, lol. Really shows ignorance. After looking at reviews we certainly found lots of comments like ours. Suggestion..... take some money and invest in some privacy. We would never stay here again or suggest it to anyone. Such a shame as it is such a nice property.

This hotel was perfect for our family. So clean it even smells nice throughout the hotel! Staff were really friendly and helpful. The room had all of the cooking utensils but no condiments. Coffee sugar and cream were provided though. The cafe on the main level was delicious and we spent lots of time there. It was a delight to sit and enjoy all the flowers. Very happy atmosphere, all other guests seemed to be really enjoying themselves and the koi fish for sure!!

Fantastic all the way around

The location of this hotel is incredible. Right downtown but not exactly in the hustle and bustle of the city. Walking distance to all the restaurants and activities. This hotel was such a relaxing retreat away.

Beautiful property and convenient location. Always a pleasure to stay at the Parkside! Only downfall is no air conditioning - good to be aware of if staying during warmer months.

Was pleasurable and relaxing atay

Room and appliances were very clean with a decent view of mountains in the distance (preferred view room). Elevator and parking are secure which was very reassuring. Just far enough away from main downtown so it is not noisy or crowded, but everything is still within a 20-minute walk radius - the harbour, attractions, movie theaters, restaurants, grocery, etc. Easy 10/10 recommendation.

Amenity was very extensive, great value for the money. My 700sqft suite felt very comfortable, however we felt some of the finishing and layout is a bit outdated. Amenity within the kitchen was very helpful for us considering dining in the suite instead of spending extra money dining out.

I booked hotel . I live in Canada . I was charged US dollar and it wasn’t mentioned at time of booking . Later I checked my bank account and I saw I have been charged in US dollar .

This hotel is really a condo with a lot of amenities. It is walking distance to the Empress hotel, the B.C. Government buildings and many restaurants. We also enjoy the lovely rooftop patio that overlooked the city and the indoor pool. There is an onsite bistro that sells pastries, sandwiches, coffee and drinks. However if you are there for week or more, there is no nearby grocery or liquor store in the vicinity and unless you arrive by car you are lugging bags.

Wonderful local stay in the heart of the inner harbor area with great access to downtown and core bus routes. Our room was clean and perfectly set up for longer stays with a small kitchenette and a convenient layout with plenty of space to move around with a walker.

We loved the space. It was like our own apartment! I I really enjoyed the bath tub!!!! We love the proximity to town and ease to all the attractions within walking distance. We look forward to staying here in future travel!

Beautiful public space with big pool. Lots of parking including ev spots. Spacious rooms a stones throw from lovely Beacon Hill Park. Excellent service from receptionists to house keeping. We will be back!
