Amazing hotel and amazing staff. Some areas are in renovation. Highly recomended.

Good staff service

Starting from the positive: - great location - beautiful hotel - very spacious room with good decor (bigger than advertised) - very nice bathroom Negative: - the bed didn’t have a normal cotton sheet, but instead a plastic coated sheet that was uncomfortable when sleeping and I am sure it was not the most breathable material. I actually had to call service in the middle of the night to check if someone forgot to place the normal cotton linen sheet, and I was told this was normal

Short business trip needed to be in that area . Large rooms , good desk for work , nice view

ALL THE HOTEL PERSONNELL IS TRULY COMITTED TO PROVIDE EXCELENT SERVICES TO THE GUEST . THE TRUE LEADER AND IS ALSO PROVIDINGTO THE STAFF A STRONG QUALITY CULTURE . I WILL COME BACK TO LE MERIDIAN IN MY NEXT TRIP TO PANAMA .

Stayed two nights then a further night later that week in a different room. Both beds and pillows wonderfully comfortable. First stay slightly smaller room, happy with everything, staff pleasant. Second stay, no tea or coffee in room, room larger but very slightly shabbier; in the morning staff unapologetic about lack of coffee.

Construction around the back of the building....bed hasnt been moved and carper cleaned under the bed....a very bad stink everyday in the room....changed rooms sane stink seems like it comes from drainage of shower or sink unbearably bad

The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The ambience was dated. The breakfast buffet was unable to keep up demand. My biggest concern was the lack of toilet accessibility. The accessible rooms had one bar in a very bad spot. The lobby restrooms had a better placed bar, no seat covers and stalls not deep enough. I expected more from a Marriott property. Foodserver Marco was excellent!

Nice pool area. Wish there was a bar pool. So many dining options that were as close as 15 minutes by car. Ubers were never more than $5

Professional staff

The property was in a great location with a lot of things in walking distance! The staff were nice and accommodating. However, the rooms were dirty and outdated. The white robes in the room had brown stains on them and smelled like mildew. There was never enough towels in stock so we had to repeatedly request until we finally got some. No towels at the pool as well. It took a very long time before someone brought some up. Lastly, there were bugs in our room. There was a black bug in the shower when I woke that morning to take a shower. The next morning when I entered the bathroom, there was a brown bug crawling on the floor. The room was not cleaned properly. I never complain to the staff and just made the decision I would never go back there.

The overall condition of the hotel was fantastic. However, during our 2 day stay, if it could go poorly, it did. Our room was never serviced, when we went up to the pool there were no towels and after an hour and 4 calls later, we went down to the lobby soaking wet to get towels. We couldn’t even have used the towels in our room since it hadn’t been cleaned. Add to the mess, our room was immediately adjacent to the exercise area on one side and a room being renovated on the other. The noise began at 4:30 in the morning and didn’t stop until 10 pm. This room should not have been let. Had we been staying any longer we would have asked to have been moved. The front desk staff was excellent. Fernando Lasso was extremely friendly and helpful.
