I spent 4 days and 3 nights here in room 531.
To be fair, when booking, you need to consider whether you want a beachfront location or one across the road. I found that beachfront rooms weren't that expensive. The receptionists helped me upgrade my room because the one across the road wasn't to my liking. They were very helpful and I received a 10% discount.
Regarding the location, honestly, the hotel is very beautiful and has a tropical island vibe like Hawaii. The beach is very clean and beautiful, but there are quite a few broken seashells (not affecting swimming, no injuries). I only found it slightly inconvenient that if there weren't large sandbags separating each area, swimming would be much more enjoyable (the sandbags are used to fill in areas of the beach with limited shoreline).
The buffet food here is delicious and quite varied.
I highly appreciate the enthusiastic service of the staff; they were all gentle, friendly, and always greeted me with a smile. They assisted me when I needed urgent room cleaning, took care of my luggage, and served me when I wanted to order food in the room (quite a Parisian vibe). A small food cart could be added!
Regarding cleanliness, although I'm an animal lover and understand that in a resort area with a lot of nature, geckos will still be present, which might be inconvenient for guests who don't like the presence of those little geckos. I didn't have any problems with mosquitoes or other insects; perhaps the hotel sprayed mosquito repellent too much. They could improve this by using scented candles to reduce the smell of the spray.
It would be a plus if the resort had large speakers playing pop music with a summer vibe (placed in the bar area and on the beach) loud enough for energetic people who enjoy listening to music to have a more enjoyable time.
To be fair, everything was fine, and I had many good and comfortable experiences here. Perhaps the beach needs some quick improvements regarding sandbags, geckos, and insects.
