I stayed here with my 5 year old daughter and it was absolutely perfect! It is so clean and quaint with beautiful foliage. It has a beautiful heated pool with a fountain and a hot tub with lots of seating and tables around the pool and a sitting area under trees and lights fire pits. The rooms don’t have AC but they do provide a fan. They also have a microwave and fridge. The absolute best part of all by far though was the location. I parked my car and never got back in the enter trip. It’s a short distance to old fisherman’s wharf and not much further to fisherman’s wharf and then if you follow the path along the water you’ll end up at cannery row! We also loved that the beach was right across the street and enjoyed kayaking there. And best of all my daughter loved that it was just across the street from Dennis the menace park, which is an absolute must if you’re traveling with kids. Lastly, the staff were all very friendly. We will definitely be staying here again for our future Monterey trips!

Family and I had a great stay. We attended a wedding at monterey beach station and it was super convenient walking distance. Pool was heated. Parking felt a bit like a tight squeeze but overall everything was great!

Would stay here again.

Nice beds. Good restaurants

Our room was updated. Comfortable beds and sheets made it easy to sleep. The front desk staff was very friendly. This was our second visit to the Monterey Bay Lodge. We would stay again!

Employees are not friendly. Will walk right by and not assist or too busy on their cell phone.

They didn’t call us on one day short of booking. They just locked the door. They called us two times earlier on water heater issue

There wasn't a lot of parking and it was a little confusing. Staff was quick and friendly. Room was clean. Bed was okay, but pillows were either flat or lumpy.

Likes: close by to Downtown Monterey, Fisherman’s Wharf and Cannery Row.

Very nice location and very clean and nice staff.

The rooms were ok. However the noise of people and the smell of people smoking mariquana kept us up most of the night

Liked that our room had a designated parking space right in front of our room and a patio with seating out the back slider door. Also liked that they had fire pit areas with outdoor patio furniture, but didn't like that we couldn't use the fire pits after 10pm. We were still able to sit out there, but it was cold.

It was an amazing stay. I loved the hotel. They have nice outdoor seating and have a small pool to hang out by. I thought the hotel rooms were nice and clean and really enjoyed my stay here. Front desk lady was super nice!

We started out on the 2nd floor (last available room) and easily transitioned to 1st floor the next day. Staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Beach, lake, pool, hot tub, parks, bike path... So many perks to this place. The lodge was really well cared for and comfortable.

This property has a great location. It is 10 minute walk to the wharf and a short drive to the Monterey Bay Aquarium. The room is clean and comfortable. The water pressure for the shower is good, but the faucet pressure is weak. They will nickel and dime you on the charges. Check in time is 4pm and we got there at 3pm. The still charged us $30. for early check-in. They are pet friendly, but they charge $40. per pet. These charges add up. Overall, nice lodge, and would stay here again.

I liked the patio and the privacy hedge. Also, I liked the sitting area by the outdoor fire near the pool.
