Wonderful hotel in Grindelwald near the Grindelwald First terminal. The location is fantastic, as it is steps to the First terminal, and is an easy walk to town and the Grindelwald train station. The stay includes the Grindelwald Card, which allows free bus rides from right outside the hotel through the town to the Grindelwald terminal with access to ski slopes and activities in the Jungfrau region. The staff also arranged free transport for us to and from the hotel and the train station upon departure. We loved the small and personalized feel of the hotel. The owners are in the lobby, lounge/bar and restaurant every day talking to guests, which is rare at any hotel. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and were able to answer our questions about the area. The bar and lounge area was open every night with good beer and wine, as well as snacks. The lounge has a pool table, and numerous tables available to play cards, board games, etc. in the evening. While we did not eat dinner at the restaurant, it was always full in the evenings. The included breakfast in the mornings was good as well. Our hotel rooms were very clean, comfortable, and modern inside. Our mountain view rooms had outdoor terraces, which allowed us to view the beautiful mountains surrounding the town. The hotel appeared to be be mostly occupied, but was very quiet in the room areas upstairs. This is a great hotel to stay in. Staff excellent. Breakfast has a large choice, good menu choice for dinner and both were great. The room we had was very clean and comfortable with a great view. We had a excellent stay.

About 5 mins walk from Amsterdam Central Station. Easy to get to and from Schiphol airport.

We were very happy when I contacted the hotel. They were willing to pick us up at the train station. Our room and view were amazing and the breakfast as well as the dinner at the hotel was quite delicious. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub as well would definitely stay there again.

ParkHotel Schoenegg is in just the right place. Near to the train station, next to Grindelwald First and right around many dinning choices. The staff are all great and very helpful. The room was comfortable, clean and very quiet. The breakfast is great and their dinner is also delicious.

Easy access to and from the train station and central to being able to get access to experience First. The staff was absolutely lovely. The hotel breakfast buffet was excellent with extensive options. Additionally, the hotel restaurant options for dinner with very good. The indoor pool/whirlpool is large and very clean.

Beautiful, great location next to First and in front of bus stop but also just a 10 minute walk to the train.

Everything about this hotel was perfect. Location, service, room and view, view, VIEW! We would 1000% stay here again. Varena at the front desk was so kind and helpful, and the gentleman at the hotel restaurant in the mornings was so kind and hospitable. We don’t leave reviews often but this was an A+ stay for us.

Everything about the property fit, what we were hoping for. It was conveniently located, the room was comfortable and pristine, and the food was plentiful and excellent. The two things that went above and beyond our expectations for the staff and the sauna. I can’t say enough about the staff. Every person we met was cheerful and extremely helpful. As for the sauna, it was a magnificent and always empty, perhaps because it’s hidden away a bit. I cannot recommend this property highly enough for a stay in Grindelwald.

excellent service the room was spacious and great view on lake with large balcony and very nice renovated room . pool overlooking the lake was stunning . very good restaurant . A real gem of a place in Weggis and close to all the hikes . would recommend this hotel to anyone !

Room was smaller than expected but it turned out to be fine!

Location is great. Staff is amazing. Good is good. Enjoyed the small bar with the crafted gin and tonics. Shirt walk the Grindelwald First tram.

Excellent hotel, great views from the terrace, excellent staff

Wonderful location, excellent views and a tremendous staff. We were able to book some tickets for the gondolas right at the front desk. The complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious. We also took advantage of the spa and cold plunge after a long day of hiking.

It was good, breakfast and pool area were great. Room was relatively spacious and in a good location. The properties age does show, and we had troubles with the wifi. Free parking though.

Lovely hotel. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Great location, just back from the Main Street in the middle of town. Nice pool and restaurant and the rooms are really spacious. The homemade welcome and farewell gifts are a nice touch too. Breakfast is really good and included in room rate. Would stay again if in Grindelwald.
