This can’t be a 5-star hotel. The room layout is spartan at best. Room 309 specifically, the church office next door can see into your bathroom (both when you’re using the toilet and showering). The bed was tiny and lacked sheets. Not to mention the massive steel beam right next to the bed.

Consistency in perfection. This is the best hotel in Wroclaw in my opinion. The quality, beautiful space and hospitality are at the highest levels. I stayed at Monopol many times but I know other hotels. They can’t compare to Monopol.

Hotel’s years of glory have already passed. Hotel’s raw and loftiness are overwhelming and loud noises from the street as well as from other rooms around not give rest.

Very clean, bedding and towels absolutely white and fluffy and changing every day if you want , very helpful staff and all polite and speak English well its right in center walkable anywhere . Its on quiet street so no traffic noise, air-conditioning, heated floor in the bathroom. Great roof bar in summer would be great to spend time there. We've had stayed in this hotel 3 times now and happy to come back. Only if you like your tea its no kettle in the room , but nice restaurant downstairs and outside loads cafes great prices and delicious food and cakes

I had to check out 4am because of early flight. When I asked to call a taxi the previous day, the hotel clerk told me to prepare for the packed breakfast.

They upgraded us to a suite which unknowingly was hitlers apt in the 30’s however the hotel lived up to its excellent reputation and did not disappoint. Great location, beautiful amenities kind staff

The spa is lovely but there are a few basic essentials that are missing that really need addressing, in my view. There’s no kettle in the room and that is a big deal for me. Also the single pillow is v thin and has to be folded in order to give minimal support. These are both surprising in a 5 star hotel. Curtains hang on a drooping wire, which makes it v difficult to open or shut them. I would like to return to this hotel but I would think twice due to the lack of a kettle. Every 3 star hotel I’ve stayed in in Poland has had facilities to make a hot drink so it’s astonishing that the 5 star Monopol thinks it’s unnecessary.

Definitely recommended over the hilton in wroclaw. Staff are much more attentive here and the pool is better as well. Have been staying here every time we come over to visit the mrs family for the last five odd years now, consistently good. My only suggestion would be to improve the breakfast option as it is currently very lackluster.
