The entire property is very beautiful, clean and comfortable. Staff is really friendly, offering great breakfast. Walking distance from the historical center. By far one of the best I’ve ever been to. No negative points

Loved this place - It's perfect

The property itself is beautiful and well-kept, but our unit was really quite awful. It clearly hadn't been cleaned in some time, and smelled very heavily of mold and just dirtiness in general. The blanket provided for the main bed was not usable because it smelled so badly. The hosts were kind, and the outdoor breakfast was delicious, but we barely slept because of not being able to breathe well due to strong odors. We tried opening all windows and even the door (until cats wandered in) but this didn't overcome the smell. There was also a lot of visible dust in the unit, especially the bathroom. Because of all this we'd have to say we would not recommend this pousada.

Yvan is a fantastic host. He keeps beautiful gardens, pool and outdoor dining areas. Their Pousada rooms are very clean and comfortable. Best of all, Yvan is very helpful recomding dining restaurants and activities. You will have a great time at his Pousada.

Wonderful place, great breakfast.

Property is at one end of Jabaquara beach which itself is not the best beach in the area although its not far at all from historic center 3(min taxi ride ). Here is where things are not supportive for courteous Hospitality for Visitors. The Cost/value just plummets when you pay Top dollar for average service and Hospitality. Taxi driver wanted 50 R for trip. I pay considerably less for a ride from Ipanema to Santa Teresa Neigborhoodd in Pricy Rio de Janeiro. Stay in the Historic center of Paraty with the hospitable brazilian locals who are fair and receptive in the tourist buissness. The historic center has a plethora of wonderful accomodations and services.

Absolutely beautiful gardens and shared space, the rooms were beautiful with good amenities (and thankfully an air conditioner), it was like staying in a gorgeous piece of the rain forest

The Pousada is everything they advertised and more!!! It is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed at. The owners are nice and friendly and make you feel welcome. Orbitz had not made our reservation so when we arrived they didn’t know we were coming but they took care of us and they had a chalet open that we stayed in. They went above and beyond to make our stay great. If you use Orbitz to book make sure they have done there part but I would recommend contacting the owner and not using Orbitz.

The staff Denise and owners Ivan and Ricardo are very welcoming. Denise’s breakfast and crepes are delicious, and Ricardo and Ivan will help you to find the most beautiful sites to visit! I definitely recommend and will be back visiting them!!! Loved my stay!!!

Loved this place. Great staff. Fab breakfast. La Luna a fab restaurant across the road. 20 min walk into town. Room was incredibly comfortable. Thanks!

Wonderful stay. We only wished we had more time to further enjoy this beautiful pousada. Owners/ staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. They helped us plan our boat trip and reserved our spot for us. Delicious breakfasts. Everything was perfect.

Lovely quaint hideaway a few steps from the beach and some wonderful bars. The Pousada is tranquil, peaceful with French relaxing music played in the background. The swimming pool was absolutely beautiful too. The slight let down was the bedroom which was a little humid but to be expected . Overall it was a wonderful place and I would go back there tomorrow!

This place is so wonderful, it also has six cats that add a lot of charm to the place. The rooms are perfect with these cute little front porches that make a beautiful morning coffee. The included breakfast is delicious! We originally booked for one day but liked it so much that we stayed another day.

The plants and staff are fantástica. Walking up at the sound of birds was magical.

Loved this little pousada and it’s owners. We were made to feel very welcome. Lovely tea and cakes at 5pm! Very welcome. Lovely breakfasts with fresh cooked crepes if you like!
