Location is perfect 3min walk from the train station and 5min from the centre. Breakfast and facilities in the room could be better but in general very satisfied in terms of cleanliness, quiet and located in a safe area. Heating in the room is fine but no AC in rooms which might be an issue in summer.

This was my first visit to the area.... I am so happy that I selected this hotel. I look forward to returning with my wife.

The Fletcher hotel is very accessible from the train station and this was great for us as we arrived late evening. Staff were very friendly and helpful but the restaurant was rather limited so we ate out, other than the first evening. Rooms are clean but on the small side and there can be noise from the street area. The hotel is in a good location for seeing around Middelburg.

Very old hotel. Very small room as basic as it can get. A bed, a chair and a small deck with a very basic shower. Uneven floor making the bed lean to the side.

At less than a 5 minute walk to the city centre and easily accessible by car the hotel is well located to visit, shop, find a restaurant or take trips in the surrounding area. The room had been recently renovated. It was compact but well furnished. The walk-in shower design is poor resulting in the whole bathroom floor becoming wet if you take a shower. It was a spur of the moment decision to take a weekend break, we were not aware it was a busy weekend. The uplift applied by the hotel more than doubled the price per person per night. Quiet location, good breakfast.

Fantastic little hotel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were spacious and comfortable, only gripe was the shower didn’t have a means of restraining the water from going all over the bathroom floor. But I can overlook that. The restaurant was superb and the food was of a really high quality. The breakfast had plenty to offer. Would definitely go back again.

Lovely hotel with great views across Middelburg. Great welcome when arrived as they remembered me from a previous stay. Rooms are clean and fresh with comfortable beds and great rain showers. The rooms can get very warm and there is no air conditioning but they have large opening windows. Highly recommended.

Excellent setting on edge of town centre with parking close by 2 Euro’s per hour from 8.00-20.00 and free overnight. Easy to find.

Friendly staff and very central. Food a bit pricey in restaurant
