No easy, parking was very far away

simply the best location for Prague, quaint and walkable to most sights and this hotel was so historic and beautiful. One note to the hotel is that the creature comforts could be addressed like better towels, robe and room service would bring another star rating, for now it isn't for the high maintenance traveller.

Anazing old buiding with lits if history

This hotel was great to stay in, so beautiful inside. The area is generally quiet. Although up a large hill it is in a decent area however people with mobility issues would struggle with the hill. Would stay in this hotel again and recommend to others.

Great hotel near Prague Castle. Lots of good restaurants nearby.

The only positive thing to say is that the hotel is in a building of architectural and historical interest, good location if you want to be in Mala Strana. Otherwise, it’s a mediocre place to stay, with run down rooms in need of renovation. Barebones amenities, a below average breakfast. The charm on the promotional photos does not materialize in real life.

Very unique and amazing hotel. Charming and in a great location right next to presidential complex\ cathedral. The staff was also incredible and friendly. We would love to stay there again.

This property is perfect location and walkable to everywhere.

Very old authentic hotel with stained glass windows depicting historic portraits of Czech people which was different and I liked that. Beautiful balustrades on staircase and artistic ceilings which added beauty and character to the place. Our 3rd floor superior room was spacious with more than enough cupboard space and contained very old solid wooden furniture in keeping with the character of the hotels age and style. Due to small stained glass window, the room lacked natural daylight but there was adequate electric lighting. The bathroom was spacious and adequately equipped. The breakfast dining room is small but the staff in there were efficient and pleasant. If you are wheat intollerant like me, then the eggs and greek yoghurt are nice plus there was corn and rice crackers with packets of varied spreads. There is a coffee machine and teabag selection plus juice. Several cereals and excellent choice of dried fruit and seeds. The hotel is up a steep hill past the castle so you need strong legs and good lungs. There is one slow lift in hotel and it is only big enough for 2 average sized people with cabin cases. Overall its ok for a few days.

Very nice antique hotel, good breakfast and close to everything but in not in the busiest areas

A lovely hotel, tucked away, under the castle walls and lovely and peaceful, at night, once the cathedral and castle visitors have left. It is a little out of the way, and up a steep hill, but that all adds to the charm. A lovely stay in a beautiful hotel. Highly recommend for those who are happy to be away from the thronging tourists.

Friendly staff, fun decor, good breakfast included, pretty good location (it's an easy walk from the castle—I think you could argue that there are more sights on the other side of the river in the old town, but the castle is probably the biggest single attraction). Downside of the location is that you had to walk down the hill a bit to catch an Uber (apparently you're too close to the Castle) but generally it wasn't a big deal, and most would still drop you off in front of it. I had the fruit plate delivered to my room, and it was huge and generally very good (I thought the pineapple was exceptionl). Very happy with my choice and would likely stay there again if I returned to Prague

The whole property is unique, ceilings with paintings, windows, beds. Very positive and helpful staff, nice and tasty breakfast. Perfect location just 10 min walk from Charles bridge and 2 min from castle. Literally the best place to feel the spirit of Prague. Recommended!

Great old-world charm, superb breakfast and coffee, wonderful service, terrific location, quiet in evening.

Staffs are great and the room was clean, nice and clean

The room was a good size with fabulous ceilings. There was also a separate dressing and sitting area with an additional TV.

We loved how cosy and characteristic the hotel was, with wooden furniture and stained glass windows. The staff were attentive and helpful, and breakfast offered a good variety of tasty food. The location is quiet and perfect to visit every corner of Hradčany and Mala Straná. Slightly more negative notes were the absence of air conditioning (we were visiting during a heatwave) and the fact that the staff was a bit insistent in asking us to vacate the room as soon as possible five minutes before check out time. Overall we would recommend it for anyone who prefers small hotels to big chains.

Excellent conditions of property, great location in few steps from king palace and other attractions, accessible by walking and riding tram, parking at the front door. Room had no AC and window openings were reachable from outdoor.
