This is a nice, out of the way property. The casitas have thatched roofs and screened windows (no glass). There’s wonderful plants and trees and this is an excellent birding spot. Breakfast is included and they’ll provide lunch and dinner upon request. They can recommend some wonderful attractions. Oh, and the food is excellent. My only complaint is that they burn wood debris on a neighboring property. The smoke was very annoying. Otherwise, I highly recommend the Creekside Oasis.

Howler monkeys by the creek, including a baby. The owner came to get us so we could see them. Thank you! The homemade meals were delicious and really appreciated the focus of keeping it Belize style. This will be a return to for us in a few years. The manager is great and shared his vast knowledge. He scheduled our tour at Eladio’s cacao farm which I highly recommend. Thanks to you all!

Jurassic Park setting! With no raptors! Breakfasts were beyond excellent. So peaceful, excellent place to unwind. Super friendly people to help every need. Eladio's cocoa farm highly recommended. Very knowledgeable but does require some hiking, lunch is included! Very proud man! 15 children, no TV I THINK! LOL Another must the Belizean Spice Farm where you smell, taste, crush and rub things on your body, just mind blowing. Best biology class I ever had. They give you a fruit that is sour, a bit down the trail they give you these seeds and give you the sour fruit again and it is like sugar. In Punta Gorda if you are looking for maracas or a awesome sounding mahogany skin drum go to port authority and ask for Rodney/BamBam both sound incredible!

Creekside Oasis is a nice place with lodges directly in the jungle. The place manager is the calmest human being I've ever met and really attentive to our needs. There are 4 rooms located under the common area where you can eat and do the check-in / check-out. The rooms are big enough (we were 4). The air conditioning is a must as everything get humid in the forest, and Toledo District looks like it gets lots of rain (January). Still, we had an issue in room #1 with the airconditioning. The first night it keep closing and opening every 2 minutes around midnight. The problem comes from the shimes, beeping and lights it does every cycle. The remote control wasn't working. As the night progressed, the frequency became more space. Only my youngest could sleep thought the noice. We adress the issue with management the next day and they were eager to fix it, but then, everything worked well. The thing is it started doing this again the second night. We decided to end our trip in Belzie at that point even though we had a 3rd night booked at Creekside Oasis. We couldn't get a reimbursement through management or Hotel.com.

We stayed at Chaab’il B’e for four days over Christmas 2019. My wife and I were the only two guests on the property, and Sheila put us into Lodge Room #2. We loved our stay because of the grounds - one can walk into the jungle (remember bug spray), to a swimming hole, and see many birds - and the animals (two dogs, Chewy & Solo, live on site). The breakfasts are also filling and freshly-prepared and tasty, and the staff allowed us to use the upper room at night to just hang out and relax. Only downside is location - if you don’t have a car, this lodge is a bit out of town. However, Sheila was helpful on getting us a rental car locally and hooking us up with Punta Gorda Adventures to do some cave exploring and fire hearth coking. Sheila and her husband did work hard to make sure we had a great stay in PG!

What an absolutely wonderful B&B!! The owners are so friendly and helpful as well as the staff. The property is absolutely stunning! There are hundreds of native birds in this particular area as well as many native critters. The property is quiet and peaceful-a perfect getaway. They do offer internet which is not super common in the area so that’s a huge plus for me! The water is fabulous to drink here and the shower offers warm water! This is the perfect place to stay while in the PG area. We will stay here EVERY time we visit and I think everyone else should as well.

The lodge was comfortable and a good value. The property was conveniently located to Punta Gorda area yet secluded. The grounds are all jungle with nice walking trails and a cool little swimming hole. The hosts Sheila and Rusty were super accommodating and helped make arrangements for tours we wanted to do a recommended some very cool restaurants. We stayed 2 nights and had an yummy hot breakfast each morning..pancakes and sausage and fruit. I would give it 5 stars but the bed was too hard for me.

Amazing stay in nature with hosts that were welcoming and knowledgeable. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet stay in nature. Best to come with a car so you can get around easily. Some great walks and maya sites near by, not to mention the chocolate tour at ixcacao. Can't wait to come back with our son to stay again !
