Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Something for everyone. Bar food and drink prices were reasonable. Food portions were huge! The menu needs better descriptions of what to expect - it's not clear what comes with fries etc. The whole hotel was very clean. Check in was fine but more information could have been given at check in (or in the room) about the hotel and the area. (Small tip - please don't announce the room number of female travellers as everyone behind me could hear) I was there during the weather warning and the forecasted heavy rain - this meant lots of guests staying in and around the hotel. The bar staff were very rushed and short-staffed. It's a pity the hotel hadn't brought in support and planned for this. The breakfast and bar staff were excellent though - always very helpful and friendly! I had read reviews about poor noise insultation between rooms and I had no problems for 5 of my 6 nights. Unfortunately, an inconsiderate man moved into the room next door on my last night and he was extremely loud. When I asked him to reduce the noise level, he and his female guest (I believe she had another room in the hotel) laughed and got louder and louder. Not the fault of the hotel though. I didn't report it to them as I was leaving the next day. Hopefully no-one else has their stay spoiled by this rude man.

Very convenient for tram & bus. Helpful staff. Had to ask for coffee / tea / milk and kettle.

Pet friendly, good parking, close to beach and restaurants. Hotel and particularly the rooms/bathrooms are too dated to award 4 or 5 stars however staff are great and so is location

Hotel was nice, lovely breakfast, good value for price. Pool is small, always sun beds available anytime of day, 2 smoking areas available on ground floor. A few restaurants nearby, harbour & old town approx 0.9 mile away.

Rooms have paper thin walls. Staff not unfriendly but not overly friendly. Breakfast was dissapointing. Basically all the reviews i read previously were true. But in fairness, hotel was clean and good value for money.

Check in is too late at 4. Bathroom dated breakfast is excellent

Convenient to team and walk to beach or Castile de Santa Barbara. Ocean view balcony was worth it.

Very busy breakfast buffet but not long to wait to be seated . Excellent choice of food , all freshly prepared . The room was clean and spacious with a large comfy bed and effective aircon. The reception staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful .

Hotel was clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also good. However some of the fixtures and fittings were in poor condition and the shower didn't maintain temperature well

Very good customer service and the view to the Castillo de Santa Barbara is amazing.

Fantastic breakfast buffet. Dirty room- 2 used cotton buds found behind the bidet and a biscuit under the curtains. I kicked that out on to the balcony. Next day room was cleaned and the biscuit had disappeared but the cotton buds hadn’t! Room 404. Be interesting to see if they are still there. Some reception staff were indifferent.

Good hotel, great location, central with bus stop & tram nearby too. Breakfast had everything you could imagine to choose from. Nice poolside snack bar. All staff were friendly & helpful.
