Bathtub hazardous to older people. Loved the location of the hotel.

We stayed at Scandic for one night with our small dog and travelling with a dog apparently means you get the worst room they have, although you pay more than guests without a dog. The room was unfortunately not clean, incredibly hot and had issues that some basic maintenance could have easily solved. The bathroom was very dirty and had black mould on the tiles, the shower was broken so you could not take a shower without hand holding the shower head. When I brought up the issues to the staff, I got a ‘sorry’ but no offer to rectify any of the issues. We were just told ‘that’s our dog room’. Travelling with a dog should not mean you have to live in a dirty room that’s in disrepair. Very disappointing.

Awesome stay! Splurge for the suite for an awesome balcony.

The property is well located, but the rooms are very institutional looking, sinks are extremely small. It doesn’t have a hotel feel.

We paid high price for a sub-par rudentary motel

Nice hotel in this price category. Excellent front office, good breakfast, clean, straight forward rooms. The shower in a small elevated bathtub is not my favorite solution but again for what it is it definitely works.

we were on 3rd floor with lift access. the room and toilet are big. room is well layout and bright. however, bed is too soft with a sink-in in the middle. breakfast is enjoyable and though we stayed 5nights we look forward to the breakfast. the restaurant is good too. had a double burger, chicken salad and beer. traveling to stockholm and will be also staying at another scandic hotel.

Very handy when arriving on the late ferry but a basic chain hotel. Did the job for us.

Very nice- family friendly!

Pleasant hotel a short wall to the centre of Visby (city Walls) located opposite the ferry terminal so don’t expect views over the water. Rooms are spacious and clean, air conditioning for when the temps are too hot. Ample choices at the Breakfast buffet. Pool on site open from 9am to 9pm. Road between hotel and terminal can be a little noisy with some cars playing music too loudly. All in all a pleasant stay, the children were happy.

Nice and pleasant hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Good location close to the sea. Nothing to complain about. Will consider staying here again when in Visby.

Nice Hotel close to ferry border. Rooms in separate buildings, breakfast very good. 5 min walk to old Visby center, perfect.

Fint hotell, bra pool men lite kallt i vattnet. Härligt med frukost till kl 11. Bra läge med kort promenad till restauranger i hamnen och stora torget.

Overall this hotel is great! The rooms are clean, spacious and the bed is comfy. It is very close to the ferry and they have the BEST breakfast buffet!

The front desk staff were very friendly, the room and bathroom were clean, the pool and jacuzzi was a great way to relax. Breakfast was plentiful and right across the street from the ferry!

Lovely and extensive buffet breakfast. Rooms are a little small and some don't have any windows (just a glass door). Private outdoor patio/seating area for the room was lovely. A short walk to the ferry terminal and the walled city.

Fantastic hotel, good breakfast and free parking on the hotel ground. Hotel located right at the ferry terminal, so easy to find hotel on arrival and the same when leaving the island. Short 15 min walk to city center. During this extreme summer heat, 30 deg C, and room facing west, I was missing Air conditioning.
