The hotel cancelled our reservation 2 days before we were due to arrive, this caused us a lot of inconvenience as we had to find somewhere else to stay. We had paid Fortuna Boat Hotel in full for our reservation. Despite this, neither Fortuna Boat or Hotels.com will refund the money we have paid.

Great location. Walk right off the gangway to walk the river and see numerous sights.

Nice position. Lovely views along river and short pleasant walk to Parliament building. I tried this boat as a quirky alternative to hotel. Didn’t work for me. The rooms are very small hardly room to move around at all. The worst thing for me was total lack of facilities. No bar No food or snacks available. No lounge or seating area to chill out. Fully accept I visited in winter and it might feel different in summer when there would be opportunity to sit out on roof terrace. I recommend if you do want to try this out go for superior room with river view and check before you travel to confirm they have allocated you the room you paid for.

I appreciate the breakfast, It was very good. Services and staff was very nice. small complaint is that we lacked a fridge and it was too hot in the room

Hotel is in an out if the way location but on the water with a view of the Island and just a few minutes walk from the #2 tram stop. Rooms are small, as to be expected in a boat, but clean with everything you need. Staff was very helpful in arranging airport transfer at a set price of 38 Euros for when we left.

It was interesting to stay on a boat, but there was no movement ' It is a good location and the bed was comfortable ' Room was clean

Always return to the hotel whenever possible, great location close to transport options, friendly and polite staff, clean room and bathroom, close to favourite sights.

The entire hotel stay was great. '' Fortuna Boat Hotel '' on a ship is a very pleasant suprise and an interesting soution.

The shower is literally in the toilet. I say shower but it’s not a shower in my eyes (it’s actually just a hose attached to the wall aimed at your chest, You can’t move the height of the hose making it a nightmare to wash my hair. Also very dangerous slippy floor as the floor has no shower mat or screen to stop the water pooling around the toilet.

Very comfortable hotel with everything you would expect from a 3 star hotel. Very helpful & friendly staff. Very reasonably priced. Good public transport links. Would definitely stay here again.

Clean, quiet and comfortable. Great to be on the River Danube with lovely views. No tea making facilities available all the time. Restaurant area dated. Limited hot meal menu, maybe due to it being late September and not high season.

Great and warm staff, the room was small and cozy with a very comfortable bed but no fridge or electric kettle and hair dryer, for the money it is worth a place !!!

no private parking , struggle to find public parking for 1 hour,spoiled the day

Very friendly & helpful staff. Small but comfortable cabin. Excellent location- good price & has 24 hour reception which I needed after a late flight.

Rim was more basic than I initially expected the air con was on when I arrived so it was nice and chilled considering the 29 degrees outside. The TV was set up properly or not working as every channel was a deep red colour. Otherwise a adequate room with passable decor. The toilet / wet room was very cubical like so you could’ve showered whilst on the toilet. But was adequate for what I needed. The plug for the sink was missing but got around that with a bit of tissue. Staff were very welcoming and helpful I paid extra for the breakfast which consisted of 3 types danish, the hit food was a dodgy looking stumbled eggs which was oily and two types of sausage a frankfurter and a spicier small sausage. Nothing else. So I’d say you’d better look in town for a breakfast. It’s opposite Margret island so little way from the centre of town where I stayed before so if you want a shop you have to walk about 10mins across the dual carriage way. But it was perfect if you just want a quick stop off for the odd night

The staff were all friendly and rooms made up well. It’s was quite and in perfect location. The only things I would change would be to have a fridge in the room and a tea making facility.

Excellent desk staff l, clean room, good breakfast. Incredible location on the Danube, close to public transportation l, free weekend parking across the street.
