It was good older resprt

Hotel is a bit tired and dated. Room was clean and serviceable but needing an update. Breakfast was shocking. Cereal with cardboard bowls and plastic cutlery. Milk from individual portions designed for coffee. A waffle maker that you had to make yourself, the automatic one was broken. Gluten free bread but no designated toaster so cross contamination is certain. Tables either rocking or with big wads of cardboard attempting to level them. Also a school trip using the hotel meant kids running up and down the corridors, shouting and banging on doors. Crucial question would I stay there again…….a resounding NO!

Pool was great

Great place to stay typically. Appreciate the location, cleanliness, and breakfast. Staying on bottom floor and it was very loud. Sounded like people running though the halls

Staff was wonderful, rooms great! Pool and hot tub were great! Kids loved the games room. Only negative is no lounging area for parents/families to just and visit.

Rooms were clean. The staff was great. The pool was great for the kids. And enjoyed the outside hot tub.

Our room was clean, the bed was comfy, the staff were friendly and overall we enjoyed our stay.

We use this hotel often it’s always a good stay condos are spacious clean the only issue is that parking in the area with trailers is not ideal but love the location and hotel

Rooms need to be renoed. Room was not cleaned properly. Old towel on top of ahower curtain upon check in. Pool design / towel placment is not helpful for families. Breakfast was lacking immensly.

Not a lot of options for breakfast, had very few choices for warm breakfast, (oatmeal, waffles, toast, and pancakes but the machine was broken) if you’re coming here for the free breakfast, I’d go somewhere else, no bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, etc. the room itself was clean but when we looked around the heating filters were covered in dust, the jacuzzi tub had dirt/ mold coming out of the jets, and stains on the curtains. The loft bed was nice and clean, well made. The hair dryer did not work. The pillows were hard as rock.

The family room layout was perfect for our family of 5. The kids enjoyed the waterslide and we enjoyed the hot tub (small and sometimes crowded). The hotel restaurant is a hidden gem that serves great food at reasonable prices. The free breakfast is ok, but leaves a little to be desired.

Room was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was good.

Rooms were clean. We ran out of hot water the one evening for 3 hours due to the high volume of persons. Breakfast choices very limited and breakfast eating area was full of boxes.

Limited maintenance for a hotel that’s 25 years old. That’s was the spot in 2001 and now it’s a good ski bum stop. Check in took 20 minutes because the toilet was leaking reportedly in our room

The room was clean although the shower didn’t work well. Nice breakfast.

Excellent room, nice and clean! Great food and service at the restaurant. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. Highly recommend the Stanford in Fernie!
